Dr. V and his staff are wonderful. The office side are kind and communicate well. I always get a call the day before to confirm my appointment. Dr. V, his PA and nurses always take time to catch up and listen to any issues.

I am a new patient with Dr. V and just want to share my experience. The minute I walked in the door the staff was so nice and caring. Once I met Dr V I felt so much better, he made a plan and got me in right away. He did a procedure two days later. He is a very caring person and I highly recommend him. Thank you everyone there!

I’ve been coming to Katy Pain Specialists for many years and always feel so good about the care and treatment given. The staff are so kind and Dr Villareal is good at listening and understanding long-term chronic pain and suggesting different things to help it.

Dr V is a God-send. Rarely can you find a physician that can combine superior diagnostic skills, treatment modalities and compassion into a truly life-changing experience.

I was in need of a pain doctor and with all the good reviews I chose Dr. Villarreal. My husband and I both went to the appointment for recommendations about my CRPS, which I have had for five years now only in my left leg. He has good bedside manner and sounded like he understood my disease and suggested a sympathetic nerve block, which I have had one five years prior. He was so quick to add me to the schedule for the procedure so that should have been a red flag. He reminded me that the procedure would be at West Houston Surgical Center and not his office. The day arrived for my block and I was the only patient booked that morning. The anesthesiologist, nurses and other staff were there on time and friendly. I was surprised to hear that I was going to be completely under for this since my last one and the pre-call told me I would be awake but not feel anything. So that made me a bit more nervous. By eight I was prepped and ready for my block, but guess who wasn't there for it…Dr. Villarreal. He didn’t show up until 40 minutes past my start time and told me he went to his office waiting for me there then realized it was at the Surgical Center. So right before I go under, I’m entrusted to this man who is flustered and obviously has a lot on his mind to go to the wrong location to begin with. They wheeled me to the surgery room where I was laid down flat on my stomach waiting for the doctor and the anesthesia. Right then the doctor patted my butt three times and said don’t worry I’m here how completely inappropriate!. I woke up and found out that I had three bandages on my back from the block, which seemed odd since I have had this before and it was only one shot location. Turns out I did have three different areas on my spine with needle marks ranging from top to bottom about 4-5 inches in length. Why? Everywhere I look online only shows one needle mark for this block. Not one person from the office or surgery center called me after my procedure to check up on me. As for my pain from CRPS, it is worse than when I went in and now it is possible that it has spread to my right leg. I have canceled any future appointments with them and I suggest not even stepping foot in this office.

I have seen Dr V and staff for back pain and through his procedure have had my pain alleviated. He and staff are kind, caring, and professional.

Dr V is an excellent doctor. I was a patient for 3 years l am old and have servre joint pain. He addressed my issues, and worked out a. Plan that was right for me. Five Stars Thank You Dr. V

Great staff assistance from the check-in through check out process. Amanda was so friendly and accurate on taking my medical preliminary records. Dr. Villarreal was extremely carefully analyzing and evaluating my case, he detailedly to explain me with illustrations all around the symptoms and what would be the plan to treat the pain. If you consider take a first approach to care of body pain do not hesitate to visit Dr. Villarreal.

They need a new receptionist bad! Very rude and just blah! These doctors should call their own line sometime and see whay they are paying for‍
