I’ve always loved jewelry so much, & love to collect unique pieces but I’ve always hated shopping for fine jewelry. The suffocating approach & obviously fake kindness of most jewelry salespeople makes me shut down & walk out of a store immediately. Until I found Tara at Kay’s in Evansville! Tara changed all that for me. She makes me feel like I’m shopping with a best friend. She lets me look & doesn’t hover but is always there to answer questions & help me. She is extremely knowledgeable and she explains everything in detail that is important when investing in fine jewelry. I’ll never shop anywhere else again. Tara is the best!!! She helped me pick out my new anniversary bands & I’m over-the-moon about them. She’s also the only one that has ever really taken the time to size my finger & explain why my rings spin around so badly. She helped me choose bands that fit what I was wanting. I’m so happy every time I look down at them.
After 3-4 stores I ended up at Kay’s with Monica who helped pick out the perfect engagement ring. She tried on about 4 different rings for me, priced prolly 6-7 with warranties and all that jazz. Finally landed on a ring and she never once complained about my thousands of request. After choosing a ring and he getting half way through check out I changed my mind again! She completely understood and didn’t hesitate to start the process all over again!
If I could give it a zero I would. I’m still pretty upset about my whole situation. I was given misleading information about my Diamond warranty by a member who worked here telling me I no longer needed to bring my ring in for inspections to keep my Diamond warrant in place. After I had my ring sauntered together, my main Diamond in my engagement ring broke this is after having a repair done on it not even 6 months later. I went to have it sent off to have my Diamond fixed only to be treated very poorly by the gal who “took care of me”. Not only did she make me cry, but she was incredibly rude about the entire situation. Now it’s going to cost me over $1,000 to get it fixed because this company told me the wrong thing. I’m very sentimental about my wedding ring and this experience has been terrible.
Very professional staff especially Mark M. Although they were very busy they worked though every issue I had with patience and professionalism ! I would recommend this store to everyone.
The staff at Kay’s was professional, attentive and took the time to assist in finding that perfect piece I was looking for. The friendly employees know their jewelry in detail which made it easier to choose from such a great variety. Thank you for your caring and efficient service!
Absolutely love this Kay’s store! Vicky, the store manager, is one of the nicest people to work with in the world. She is so helpful, as well as so knowledgeable about all things jewelry! I drive from Owensboro to Evansville because this store is so friendly, competent, and helpful with all of my jewelry needs!
Meisha was a great help throughout our visit buying our wedding bands! Very funny and great personality. Great while we tried on every ring they had deciding what we wanted! Such a fun experience!
Came in recently for a wedding set for myself and my husband to be and received the best customer service from Tara. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable but was extremely helpful. We have been back a few times buying other pieces and always wait for Tara to help us! If you visit the Evansville location, ask for Tara!
When I busted through the window attempting to find cover in what I thought was a Wendy's, I was pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful jewelry store. The staff were very understanding while I finished my firefight with the reptoid menace. I walked away with a very nice diamond ornament for my phaser, 5/5 would shop again.
We walked in and was greeted and served with the best service! Mark Montgomery was so awesome and was able to provide us with exactly what we were looking for! I was able to get my wedding band with the help of Mark and my Fiancé was able to get her ring cleaned as well! We will definitely be back. Thank you Mark! The photo with both rings is before my Fiancés ring was cleaned, the one with just her ring is after!
