We’ve been a customer of Kay Jewelers for over 30 years. Out of that time we’ve only had 2 problems which were fixed. For the past several years, Anais at the Abilene TX location has been our go to person. She has always made us feel like a valued customer whether we purchased anything or not. She goes above and beyond what we generally think of as good customer service. When it comes to jewelry inspections, she takes the time to make sure everything is in perfect shape in addition to making sure the ID numbers are correct on the stones. She is actually, with the exception of I think one individual who was working with her one time, to take the time to verify the numbers. That is excellent customer service giving us the assurance that nothing was replaced without our knowledge. To us, she is a great asset to the company.
My family was treated so kindly by the store manager Irma! We stopped by to shop for my oldest son for a high school graduation gift. Irma was patient and took her time to answer his questions while he tried on several gold chains. She helped him find the perfect chain that he will wear for years to come. The gold chain selection was great and the service was even better. It’s hard to go out and shop with a big family, there are seven of us. Irma and her team made my family feel welcome and my son receiving the gift feel special. Thank you Abilene Kay Jewelers!!! I highly recommend!
My boyfriend purchased a necklace for me at this location and was double charged. This business seems to not know what a refund is and will keep the money that they wrongfully took. In simple terms, they basically stole the money and how that's allowed is beyond me. No one at this company seems to be concerned about figuring out how to issue customers a refund. The integrity at this company is nonexistent.
Emily has been wonderful. She personally gets 5 stars!!! This girl knows what she is doing, and she was looking for stuff in our account back prior to 1998!!! I will add pictures when my ring comes back. One part is 90 yrs old!!! Husband's Grandparent's gave us their first band they had been married 50 years when we got married. We celebrated our 40th in December of last year. The other's are from 1998. Received my rings back on the day promised and they look beautiful as always! Another perfect repair. Fixed where I some how caught them and they were no longer round on one of the anniversary bands, they didn't align with each other, some stones needed tightening, the sapphire needed to be reset it was crocked in mount, tightened, and one of the anniversary band needed to be widened I never take them off except when cooked/mixing with bare hands so every few years one band needs that. I tend to wear them till they get thin.
Love to browse thru Kay's, a girl's gotta dream! The staff is very helpful and friendly. Stop in and get your jewelry cleaned while you shop. They also have appraisal services and jewelry repair.
Irma and her teams have been nothing beyond spectacular. They are always extremely patient when we look around multiple times a month, sometimes a week. They have given my husband and I the upmost care when it comes to special made items, as well as special orders. They never make us feel like we are taking to much of their time. If you are looking for an amazing experience looking at jewelry I would highly recommend visiting this store.
The team here was absolutely amazing. Very helpful and attentive! We plan to be back for our wedding bands. Go see Lexi!
A few times I've gone to this store, if it's a weekday and the store is empty, you'll be met with employees that seemingly do not want to be there. If you go on the weekends, better go with a male so they will help you almost instantly. I put up with the service a few times because I only go every 6 months to get my bands inspected and cleaned, but the fact that every time I go, I go alone and am over looked, met with employees that seem agitated I'm not there to buy something, or am met with subpar service is uncalled for. Today was the last straw, got over looked for TWO couples and was told "I thought you were being helped" no ma'am I was sitting alone with my toddler, does that look helped to you? I will go out of my way to go to a different store to get my items inspected, cleaned, and fixed. This store should implement a sign in system so the customers are helped in the right order and in a timely manner.
I had shopped at this store before, and never had an issue. I went to purchase my wife a Christmas present and everything went well until I noticed they had debited my account twice. I didn’t find this out till the next day, but I went to dispute the charges and the lady at the store said one of the charges would drop off in a few days. Well I waited a few days, it never dropped off. I called the store back and they said take it up with customer service, and customer service said it was store problem. Customer Service did say she would have the Manager call me back, she never called. After several more calls to customer service, they said there wasn’t nothing they could do. My bank told me it was “hard coded” to the account, it will not drop off. One can only speculate it was nothing but a scam and the lady made off with the money. This is sad, but I will never step foot back another Kay store for sure. Customer service is horrible.
Great service,very friendly and helpful staff. I originally, ordered online and went in to pick it up and I ended up purchasing more jewelry.
