KB Kakes is a custom cake studio specializing in creating cakes with you in mind. KB Kakes has been in business in Gainesville Florida since 2002. Kathy has been creating works of art in the form of cake all her life!
KB Kakes has sponsored many different charity events, most recently Taste of Gainesville benefiting Tyler's Hope, Child Advocacy Center and Children's Home Society.
KB Kakes has been featured in publications such as The Knot Weddings Florida, Weddings Illustrated, Home Magazine, and Gainesville Magazine. She also created a one of a kind cake for a very special person on the Extreme Makeover Production Team when they were here in Gainesville.
General Information FAQS: Our pricing starts at $7.00 per serving and includes your choice of flavor and filling then covered in fondant with a thin layer of our made from scratch buttercream icing. A match made in heaven. KB's buttercream has been called "orgasmic" Don't believe us just try for yourself. We also offer buttercream icing and ganache icing as well, pricing may vary from fondant covered cakes.
So after you have tried the rest come taste the best! We know you will be ordering from us once you taste our yummy creations.
KB is also the original creator of the Gourmet Kake Truffles here in Gainesville, Florida. They are little bites of pure heaven and can be purchased daily at Dorn's Wine Warehouse, or by special order. KB's Kake Truffles are made by hand and dipped in gourmet chocolates they are great for desserts, parties, favors, gifts and even weddings!
