Printing, scanning, USB drive, no matter what you are able to do it all here with ease! Especially with the kind and super helpful staff here! Every time I am here I am assisted with top tier customer service! Today an employee by the name Danielle made my day an exceptional one. Beale Library does not disappoint!

Went to meet up with a special education teacher that have a service dog and was asked to leave for no reason other than she didn't believe the teacher had a disability and accused her of making it difficult for those that do. When we tried explaining that she had a service dog for years she threatened to call the police and banned us. This could have also been because we were AA Not a friendly place for those that have animals trained to be service animals. will not be taking my special education youth here because of the discrimination and ignorance of the staff.

Best Library in 2 Counties. I go to all SLO County libraries on the Coast and several libraries in Kern County. Great staff, huge collection of books both adult & children, large audio video selection, 2 large sitting areas and good security which is a must in the downtown area.

it's a very good library offering a spacious bookshelfs and its staff are friendly and always there to help not to mention their special kids area it's magical for the kids.

I will never come here again spent a hour or so setting up my son's and I to get a library card. Spent another 20 minutes picking out movies for me and my son. Then I checked out and am told 15$ for like 7 movies. Librarys use to be free I'll never waste my time in your library again. Thanks for ruining my family's day today !

Great library, very good place to volunteer. Personally feel great volunteering with them. They the best books you may not find elsewhere, you can search for a book online and staff will also help you. They also provide free wifi. Separate children section which have lots of books, small play area, lots of toys for kids. Library also conducts many other programs which will help people to develop their skill set.

A few times, I was treated unfairly, but in my last two visits, I was helped and was able to accomplish my search for a book I'm interested in.

Clean. New furniture. Kids with a puzzle. Racks of used books for sale.

Best library in town! Every day/night they have activities for kids and they provide a free meal for the kids as well! My kiddos have so much for here. I try to go everyday.

Big library and the kids section was pretty good size. They had fun toys for the kids puppets, food play, car play small toddler slide and a kid play area. Only negative is the homeless around I don't know if it's just downtown or the amtrak next door but we shouldn't have to see a homeless persons full behind as me and my kids are walking out. Pretty disgusting.
