The oldest Sikh society in North America established in 1906
The Khalsa Diwan Society was founded on July 22, 1906. The Ross street gurdwara was built in 1970 and established as the largest Sikh temple in North America at that time. As the number of Sikh's grow in British Columbia, the Ross street gurdwara is seen as a pinnacle of success in pioneering and establishing itself as a holy shrine for Sikhs and non-Sikhs across the lower mainland.
To build a community of Sikhs and non-Sikhs alike to promote peace and prosperity for all.
