They price their stuff wrong and then blame you!!!! Woman was so rude about everything we just left it all. Update: Celeste took care of it and fixed the issue for us. She was very helpful and professional.
Very nice exchange with a w8de variety of items, nice mall way with other shops and a food court. The food court only had half the spaces filled. The parking lot is mostly covered parking.
I like to shop here for brand names since they are usually more affordable than buying outside the base. But they once matched a price with Amazon, and that was nice! I'm not sure if they still do that. It won't hurt to ask. There are also small booths that are in the hall area before entering the main store. There are also a few other stores, including a beauty salon, barber, optical store, uniforms store, coffee shop, and others, and a fast food area with bathrooms. Bathrooms can sometimes be a bit messy but not more of the ordinary that you will find in a mall or shopping center.
We purchased an Ashley leather recliner loveseat we saw at Keesler Exchange. The sales person said we need to order it on the exchange website from Ashley. We did that. The loveseat came today and we could not figure out why the back of the seats would not fit into the base. The exchange said we don’t service these items and that we needed to contact Ashley directly. We did that. They said because we didn’t buy it directly from them, they didn’t think they could help and to call our local Ashley store. We did that. They said they are a franchise and not a corporate store and have no technicians on site as they outsource the techs. They said they couldn’t help us. We now have a recliner loveseat sitting in our living room that we can’t use and no one from Ashley or the exchange to assist! DON’T PURCHASE FURNITURE THROUGH THE EXCHANGE!!!!!!!!
I live shopping at the Base Exchange, especially for their purses. Today I bought a beautiful neutral color Michael Kors with gold undertones. The prices are very reasonable and the employees make shopping fun!
Good selection of workout clothes for women. Past season and old stock stuff on clearance, you can definitely find some gems in there.
It has a gamestop and some decent smaller stores, but there's only two options in the food court
The exchange itself is fine. The food court is a bleak offering of what is basically the same type of food with different labels slapped on the side. Everybody eating there, whether alone, with friends or family looked absolute defeated to be inside of that place. Reminded me of a dystopian sci-fi movie. Can’t say I’ve ever been put into a position where I’d have to choose between Arby’s or Charley’s Cheesesteaks but… there I was.
The Store Base Exchange BX is great. However, the food court is awful! There are only two choices! It used to be a great place for lunch.
Has a good food court the BX itself is set up nice. It is a larger one compared to most BX's. They do have gun sales there which is nice. Also in the same building as the BX they have local vendor shops and military clothing sales and the commissary connects to the BX which is nice.
