Keewaydin Park

Discovered this playground while in the area dropping off my ballot this afternoon 8/1/22. My kids got excited at the sight of new and fun looking playground equipment. I pulled off to park and once in the parking lot I was instantly alarmed by the amount of homeless people at the picnic pavilion area and sketchy men sitting in or near cars that were parked in the parking lot. I didn’t feel safe with the thought of even parking, let alone letting my kids use the playground, so we left. Such a shame because this playground looked really fun.

We absolutely love the new playground equipment and always have a great time! But the amount of nasty mouthed high school kids that really shouldn't be on the equipment, is ridiculous! My five year old doesn't need to know some of the horrible words coming out of their mouths!

Just a peaceful place to be. Birds are super friendly. The food stand has amazing food too. 10/10 for Pokemon GO players as well

LOVE LOVE LOVE the new playground. Took the kids to this park for the first time since they installed the new playground and they loved it, 11 year old through one year old. My baby loved the self-spinning merry go round.

Really unique, new play equipment. Unfortunately, there is quite a transient and homeless population that sleep on the playground at night, and pass through the park due to the proximity of the bus line terminus on the nearby street. With young kids, go in the daytime and go with others. Be aware.

Nice park but lots of homeless and addicts. Shady places to park on break are a bonus but the bathrooms are scary stainless steel graffiti covered hella.

The oldest park in Kennewick! Nice children's playground equipment. Worse time to go here is before and after high school, and their lunch time. One of the bf transfer stations. Check out the museum, community center. Close to the police, and city offices. Somewhat close to grocery, gas, swimming pool, and coffee shops.

The park is pretty well clean. I eat here since most dining rooms are closed. This seem to be a huge hang out for the homeless. I feel safe and only get out of car to put my trash on the dumpster. You do see alot of people sleeping and hanging.

right across the street from police station. More or less good park to enjoy. I dint know if i would bring kids because of the homeless ppl shouting non sense. Other that its a great place for an adult male to go play pokemon go. Quite a few pokemon stops in the park and i believe it has a migrating nest.

I just go there sometimes to eat lunch. It's decent it's got good toys. Some of the people around there seem a little sketchy. But have never had a problem with anyone.
