Followed up with Dr. Kelly Moorehead following a hospitalization. She and her husband, Dr. Colin Moorehead, are both excellent doctors and are very efficient. I came early to fill out new patient forms and was seen shortly later by both of them! I was finished within fifteen minutes of my appointment time. It is refreshing to have doctors who value the patient’s time. I’ve known both doctors for years - mainly through hospitalizations. I was relieved to learn they were taking new patients and they accepted my insurance.
Wish I could give zero stars! Was on a visit at Kelly Moorehead’s office to follow up on my blood pressure to see how the additional medication was doing. While on my visit my blood pressure was still reading high. I was concerned about the blood pressure cuff being too small so I measured my arms prior to my visit and they were 19in. Upon my visit I noticed that the cuff they used only accommodated arms up to 17in. When I brought it to the nurses attention she simply told me “well that’s the biggest cuff we have.” If the blood pressure cuff is too small you WILL get an INACCURATE HIGH reading! I asked the Doctor once she came in if that was true that a too small cuff would net you an inaccurate high reading and she agreed. Only to tell me the same thing as the nurse “this is the biggest one we have.” So instead of even attempting to accommodate me with a correct size cuff to get me an accurate reading she says “Well if you think your BP is ok I won’t up the meds or I can up them, it’s up to you.” So either I have the biggest arms of all her patients or there’s numerous people being over medicated due to inaccurate blood pressure readings. My mother took my blood pressure with a proper sized cuff and guess what!? It was in normal range on the current medication no need to up it! So if you have large arms beware! No solution or even an attempt to try and help me. Sad, and I will NOT be back.
This office is a joke. Came for my new patient appointment. Came 30 minutes early to do paperwork and brought everything needed. Been sitting here over an hour while 3 other people who came in much later than me to be seen first with no eta. The staff is just playing with pet dogs, Im in utter disbelief
Been going since about 2001. This entire office takes care of my Dad and I! They are all amazing!
She has been my doctor for years. I have many health conditions and wouldn’t trust another doctor to help manage them all. Always professional and caring.
I’ve seen Kelly Moorhead for a couple years and I’m leaving. I’m tired of the office being disorganized and not having good communication with the doctor. Tired of the condescending tones from the doctor. Just rude and not all that helpful.
Dr. Kelly is a great clinician who is comprehensive, kind and caring. The staff is professional and friendly. Always a good healthcare experience.
There has been a change in office personnel. Dr. K. takes time with me and helps me with all my health issues or send me to competent specialist.
