Shaley is a compassionate person who is dedicated to meeting the needs of those grieving in a personal and professional manner.  She spends time and listens to what families want for the services to honor and celebrate their loved one's life.  She has been willing to make the sacrifices needed so families feel her support during a time that is very challenging during the loss of a loved one.  As well, communication is excellent the day of the services from start to finish.

Shaley, is the most caring and compassionate local funeral director that I know.  The funeral home is very open and modern with all of the latest technology to have a funeral or memorial service. She has made the outside look absolutely beautiful! I would definitely recommend this funeral home and crematory for any family looking for a funeral or cremation provider in Chambersburg, or anywhere in Franklin County, PA.

I normally don't write reviews, but I wanted to highly recommend Kelso-Cornelius. Kelso was more concerned about helping me to plan the proper funeral and not just making money. They were very understanding and accommodating in our time of need and grief.

I'll never go anywhere else . Family owned and the work done was wonderful.

I received solicitation, surveys or advertisements in the mail from this funeral home. I find it in very poor taste. Any funeral home that I know of, goes by it's reputation. The fact that they need to solicit business is questionable. I called and spoke to Mike who refused to remove my name from his list. He said they pay a marketing company to send letters according to a persons age, yes I am over 70 and I find it offensive that they are soliciting my burial. I just can't understand their lack of professionalism. I am worth money to them, dead.. Mike was curt, quick and unapologetic which are qualities a funeral director should never have. These are my personal opinions, I have never had any contact with them personally or professionally, yet they tracked the old lady down because of her age and hoping to make a quick buck.  I'm back with the same complaints. I have never known a funeral home to actively solicit business from old people.  Such bad taste. My personal opinion of this place is that they are offensive. If you have a good reputation, people will call you. Solitation of the elderly is awful. This time you actually sent an enticement.  If I call and make an appointment, you will give me phamplets on wills and documents pertaining to the elderly. You answered the last time, with glorious descriptions of your business and just another way of promoting your business. Please, acknowledge that you are sorry to offend me and will at least make an effort to remove my name from your list. Please don't answer that your a wonderful place and only mail things to help people. You mail things to get more dead people and increase your profits. Again, these are my personal opinion.

I was totally blown away by the team work of this funeral home. I live in the Harrisburg area, and commuted to Chambersburg.   I promised Mom she would look like a princes. I was anxious about that statement due to her condition.  The team did not have much to work with.  Mom had been deteriorating for a month.  However; the work done on her was fabulous. My Mom looked like she did when she was in her early 30's. She would be impressed. From beginning to end everything was professional, and well planned. I had pre-planned the funeral, three years prior, but the attention to all the details were as great as if I had planned it that morning. The person who drove over an hour, to pick Mom and Dad up at the nursing home was so nice and understand, and respectful of my grief. I used Kelso-Cornelius two years prior for my Dad.  As I stated for Mom,  the staff worked with me, and were all courteous, and very respectful. I can't say enough about all the staff and the owner.  Eilene D. Bowen

Even through a difficult and unexpected time, the people at Kelso-Cornelius went out of their way to help us with the unforseen things, Doctors, Insurance, and Cemetery.  Never did l expect the kindness that they gave us. Thank you so much.

Handled a family members funeral. Answered so many questions was kind and considerate. The are good at every stage of the process . Greatly appreciative and will use them in the future.
