This station has taken a good chunk of a decade to renovate! It has improved in the past few years but hurry up! Other countries are building entire subway lines and waterfronts in less time, while Toronto is struggling with half of a train station? Heck, even our own city's Line 6 is progressing faster!
A bit inconvenient to access the platform because of the construction. Check out GO Transit website for updates as you can only deboard at Kennedy from certain coaches also announced during the train journey. Otherwise, convenient option to travel to downtown with Stouffville Line expansion offering service every hour during non-peak and weekends. Almost the same fare as TTC to Union, but way more comfortable and mobile network unlike the subway + wifi
What can be said about a ttc subway station. Three levels of happiness. Subways on the bottom. Middle are buses and top is the light rail transit. Station is clean, has one shop inside the station for small items. Use cash if you need to purchase anything. Overall not a place to stay long at. Keep moving.
the last time i was on kennedy station was 2 years ago. this was my first time visiting ever since then and i was really annoyed at the maze they have made for their customers. i understand that under construction you're going to face obstacles, but i just was not having it today with the line up of people and having to ask 2 operators to find my wait to get to the 43 bus. before i used to just get off the ttc, go up and the 43 platform would be there, but this time i went up, had to ask directions, then had to ask further directions to finally find it.
Good station. Need station building with a staffed ticket kiosk. The stairs and elevator are slippery when wet. But provides good connections to the TTC
Currently platform construction are going on. Priority coach is the best option to get into the train and get down from the train.
Very difficult to navigate, very poor signage. Connection from subway is confusing. No afternoon rush hour service to Union from here!?!
GO should move one of the Presto readers from the part of the platform that's under construction, right now passengers are bunching up on the one reader that's available
I like this station because its convient . Its busy but not as bad as most go stations
Clean, but very cold in the winter. No heated areas. Wear a parka!
