I was recently in a Legal dispute where I had little power on my own to get things resolved.  I was referred by several trusted colleagues to reach out to Kennedy Hodges and I couldn’t be more relieved that I did.  Kennedy Hodges was there from start to finish keeping me informed on my case and giving me peace of mind.  I’m happy to say our case was a huge success to all involved!  I will gladly refer any persons reading this review right now, who’s considering using their Firm, because in my personal experience they were exceptional.  I also want to give special acknowledgement to Marta Ponce who was in constant correspondence with my family and was very responsive in answering any of my family’s questions. I am very satisfied with Kennedy Hodges . They worked tirelessly in winning our overtime class action lawsuit and communicated and kept me informed on the process and questions I had.  I highly recommend calling them if you need a firm to represent you.  Also like to thank Marta Ponce for helping me through the legal process and getting my concerns and questions answered and resolved.

i was impressed with the fast return of my settlement. the attorneys did exactly what they said they were going to do. I also appreciated the anonymity being respected. I really have only 1 thing That wasn’t awful but enough to take off 1/2 star which isn’t an option & that was that although it was a generous amount, when I actually did the math I found I came up short over the long run, but I do feel vindicated. I wish the firm knew what kind of wrangling the defendant has now resorted to: they succeeded in their activity by simply re-modeling & re-packaging the same practice...greed is such a motivator for creativity, isn’t it?

Unfortunately, my experience has been the same as the feedback seen online. Although we began over 3 1/2 years ago and there were no online reviews posted aside from a couple suspiciously generic, overly positive reviews. In the initial consult, David Hodges was knowledgeable about the direction our case would take. He mentioned the 3 suits we would have. However, after taking our case, we were promptly transferred to another attorney in San Antonio. It was a surprise to hear from this other attorney in the following weeks. Aside from the lack of communication, we were very much misled in the initial consult. We were given the impression that their fees were roughly 1/3 or 33%. There are also administration fees which can reach up to 2%. David Hodges was very adamant that their office tries to keep those fees at a minimum. They were not. Aside from this, we were told that they try to settle most cases out of court. Otherwise, the fees went up to 45% but he would do everything to ensure we didn't go to court. I don't really understand how we've ended up paying the 45% fee. We settled in mediation. Perhaps this is part of a scam by the lawyers. I can only assume they went to court on our behalf and agreed to a mediation. The communication has been... almost non existent. I heard back 2-3 times a year, during the 1st two years. I've actually felt that I should hire another attorney to represent me... Which is definitely not reassuring. Here we are 3 1/2 years later. Hoping we can get paid on a lawsuit we mediated 6 months ago.

Kennedy Hodges did me solid. I was a little leary at first going in, but they explained everything along the way and answered every question I had. Their legal assistant, always emailed me back promptly whenever I had a question and made everything feel right. From the airport pickup, to the hotel I stayed in for the deposition, to the conclusion, they were all class.  I couldn’t have made a better choice. Thanks Kennedy Hodges, much love!

My daughter first contacted Kennedy Hodges on my behalf and I am so thankful she did.  Don Foty was assigned to our case.  He and his para-legal, were often in touch with us, seeking information  and keeping us apprised  of the status of our situation, guiding us with interrogatories, and deposition.  They were patient with me when I was frustrated.  I certainly thank them for their patience with me, dedication to our problem, and the final result.

I called a month ago and gave them information about a potential case. They told me I would get a call from a lawyer the following business day. I had to call them two weeks later to remind them of me, and they told me lawyers were still reviewing. I called three weeks after that, today, and apparently they are still reviewing the small paragraph of information that I gave them. They apologized and said it usually takes two weeks for a lawyer to contact a client. I asked why it was taking so long and the lady said "I'd be lying if I told you why." What?? I guess these guys are too busy.

This firm likes to forget about their clients.   Your attorney also changes quite often with these guys, and they fail to mention the attorney change as well.  Communication with these guys is almost non-exsistant.  As far as the other user reviews, I never was explained much of anything.  I had to call these guys to get anything moving.  I would recommend going to a firm where clients come first.

Kennedy Hodges LLP is a professional, competent, reliable and accurate law firm.  During the process, I was kept well informed of the actions being taken and outcomes.  I would certainly use their expertise again, if needed.

Kennedy Hodges's were very imformative and helpful. Marta walked me through a case I was involved in and always called me back. I recommend them for any overtime case you ever run into!
