Terrible experience. I was surprised by how unorganized and unfriendly the staff was, especially since it's highly rated. The office is not very kid-friendly looking. Once you get called back all of the patient chairs are out in the open right next to one another. Nothing about the patient chairs or "rooms" are designed for kids or to help them feel more comfortable/distracted. I filled out the new patient paperwork for my son twice and kept getting emails to fill out the paperwork. I gave them my insurance information 4 times. Once in the paperwork, twice over the phone, and once via email. When we were taken back they left us 3 different times asking us about our insurance information. I finally went up to the receptionist and explained to her that I had given the information multiple times and she just gave me a dismissive look and shook her head. At that point, I did not feel comfortable with that office being my son's first dentist experience. I kindly told them I was not going to move forward with the appointment and left.
I have been coming to this practice for years now and every time we have had an appointment we are treated with so much love and patience. This practice is hands down the best! From the front desk to the hygienists to the dentist the moral of the entire staff never ceases to amaze me with each time we're here. Do yourself and your children a favor and come see the difference it makes when your child actually loves coming to see the dentist!
Dr. Finkleman was the sweetest person ever! My son is 10 years old with Autism and he walked right up to her and gave her a hug and kiss. She kissed my cheeks and my babies and the work she's done with my son was incredible! He's NEVER had his teeth cleaned before until his appointment with her! He actually let her clean his teeth using all kinds of the tools they use!! I literally got in the car after the appointment and cried!! And just so others know I drive over 2 hours from Coweta County to her office and I'll keep doing it!!! The office staff and dental assistant were so great too!!! We can't wait to go back in March!!!
The hygienists and dentists are wonderful, but I had such a poor experience with the office staff that I plan to change practices. When I filled out the forms the day prior to my appointment, I accidentally missed the button to switch over to the insurance portion. Even though I was the second person in the door and arrived well before the opening time of 11am, my children were not taken back until 12:15pm. The office staff was clearly annoyed that they had to do additional work to apply my insurance and their heavy sighs and eye rolls left me feeling foolish for not filling out the forms correctly and for clearly ruining their day. She told me they would need to change my appointment time by 30 minutes, which I understood, then proceeded to forget about us until I asked an hour later. My insurance wasn't even applied when they finally went back, which means our wait was a waste. Moms are doing their best, ladies. Even an ounce of grace goes a long way.
My 4 year old and I were so nervous! But this amazing team was so kind, patient, and clearly understood how to care for children! No tears!! I'm so grateful. This experience was absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to bring him back!
If I could give more stars I would. Judith was an absolute gem! She definitely knows how to work with children. Her staff are stars that are super knowledgeable and handle nervous moms and kids with care. I've never had a more pleasant experience at the dentist as I had with them today. They are bilingual which is amazing and so personable, I did not feel like just another patient to them. I literally hugged the staff on our way out the door.
I’m so happy to track down Dr Finkelman after leaving her practice in Alpharetta, sadly, but I’ve been seeing her since my son was 3 he’s now 13 and I will NOT change her for anyone in the world! She’s amazing with kids and is extremely loving and knows how to do her job exquisitely. Her name should be on the dictionary under “dentist” because she is the definition of a true Dentist! I love her !
If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm glad I did not take my son who has special needs. The front office staff does not know how to talk to patients/customers, I can only imagine the treatment in office. I was called today while I'm in the middle of work and sick!! The lady from the beginning had an attitude because I needed to make sure that the appointment she was confirming did not interject with other appointments my son has going on at the moment. If you are calling to confirm an appointment that is exactly the point. She then proceeded to request his insurance information and sighed, huffed, and puffed on the phone; because of this I asked if she needed me to call her back. Once again she answered with an attitude, of course I did not have the card insurance readily available. I did not expect the call!! If you do not like your job do not take it out on the practice patients. I am disgusted.
Terrible customer service. The receptionist barely look at our face and she left us waiting for 50 minutes. When I went to ask what was going on she said they had an emergency. She never informed the parents in the reception and she was extremely indifferent to my decision of leaving the place! Maybe the dentist is good, however, her reception doesn’t care about the clients.
I absolutely love the staff here. My daughter was really nervous and they really helped cheer her up and calm her down. Everyone was is SUPER sweet and I love that. I would definitely recommend!
