Great library! The staff is friendly and easy going. They haven't always had what I'm looking for but can always get it within a few days. Nice to have such a large library system in Kent county with great local branches like Englehardt.
very nice library, I used to go here as a kid all the time and they had ton of cool stuff, they had fun classes, and I remember around Christmas time we made these really cool Christmas presents and stuff like that, everyone here is very nice, definitely recommend checking it out!
Wonderful library we used to visit when we lived in Lowell. Perfect walking distance for much of the town, and they did great toddler activities once a week for young kids. Book selection was average, but they are very fast about getting books from other Kent District libraries, although they previously would not get baby board books shipped from others libraries which was disappointing but I don't know if that's changed with COVID. Love the view of the river from the windows and how accessible it is + being close to all downtown amenities. We've def missed this place since moving away.
Great place to visit. Their is plenty of books to choose from. Ranging from people starting to read all the way up to high end adult books. The staff is super nice and it is really easy to get a card. There is a child play area for kids to play in near the kids area. Also it is very easy to reserve a book when you want to. Their is also lots of computers ranging from compueters meant to find books they have to computers meant to be free for anyone to use if they dont have one they can use. Also the place is always clean. Finally the computers all have headphones that are next to them.
Small down home library! Everyone is so nice and helpful! I do wish they had more hours open but I appreciate that they allow the people who work for them to have Sunday's off and shorter hours on other days. To me it's respectful to the people who work for them! This translates to great service when I go there when my two young girls! They are great at suggesting other "good reads" which is ALWAYS appreciated! I look forward to going here for many years to come!
Always clean, nice selection for adults & kids. Kind & helpful employees.
Great place. Librarians are helpful and friendly unlike 99% of libraries I visit and aren't smug or snide and have even shown a vast sense of humor they hung on the wall my 5-year-old's colored picture of 'My Favorite Character', for which she had drawn a crying vicious monster heart with bleeding vampire teeth. Clean, great play area, friendly attitude. Grade A.
Love taking my grandkids for reading and making new friends. We bring books home to read for the week. Great staff
Best library I have ever used. Very helpful and friendly. Great activities for all interests and ages.
I love the library. I wish it was open for in person browsing. I know it won't be closed forever.
