I use to think very well of this practice until I realized that my provider is actually a quack; has no competence, no sense of professional responsibility, and no regard for a patient's wellbeing. The support staff are rude and dismissive. They would rather endanger the patient than to do their job.
Another update: ANOTHER MISTAKE on their part risked my husbands CPAP being removed and his health risk as well they didn't actually dx him after saying he has sleep apnea. Not sure how this place is still running. Update: Even worse. My husband just when to his apt and they had apparently scheduled it the wrong month he knows for a fact they told him this month. THEN he finds out the device he's been waiting 4 months for isn't getting delivered to the house like they said, but it has been delivered and he has to schedule another apt weeks out to pick it up. This place has chronic problems. I can be patient with a one-time thing, but this has happened to both of us in several areas. Original: Yikes. Not a well run office. For both my husband and I they took 2-3 months to send out a referral for us. They consistently cancel apts. They gave me incorrect information over the phone and I ended up driving all the way to the office for nothing. My apt was just after their lunch hour, and I still had a long wait for them to even take me back, I even watched one of the nurses come back in late and grab another ct. The nurse that did take me back was walking around talking on her cell phone until she took me back. I work in another medical office - I know how things should work and this isn't it. Unprofessionally run.
Update 11/2022 Took 2 weeks to fill an insurance form out so it was denied a week back. Updated: 9/22 I’m getting the runaround for a refill again been waiting at their office 2 1/2 hrs to have the doctor write up the script. Update: It's 3/22. I'm calling for the 5th time for my prescription refill I've been trying to get since Monday. Their office staff hasn't gotten any better. Original Review: Great doctors, horrible office staff. My medication has been awaiting insurance authorization for 2 days now, and they claim it takes 7 business days. It takes my insurance company hours to approve once it's sent in. I've complained many times over the years to the office manager and doctors, but nothing ever changes. They're the only sleep medicine doctors in the area though. This previous review was not an isolated incident. Every other time I have to get my medication refilled I have issues with their staff not reading a fax machine. One time they even transferred me to a pediatrician's office in a town 45 minutes away by accident.
This is the worst doctors office I have ever been too. I've been going over a year and the staff keeps getting worse. They don't answer the phones, or return calls. I had to drive a hour to the office to get a refill on a prescription because Noone would return my calls. Lack knowledge of what they are supposed to do. I have several different doctors from different fields and this place is the only one I can't stand.
Send them a check for my copay. They cash the check but never posted to my account. I send the check June 1. They cashed it June 7. They kept on sending me a bill. I called their office. Was on hold for 45 minutes. Got tired of been on hold so I went to their office with the paid check and bank statement. They still claimed I didn't pay. My next step will be taking them to court. I cancelled all upcoming appointments. Worst place.
Don't care about patients at all. If you are struggling to breathe, they make no attempts to get you in the office or even call in prescriptions.
Billing issue. No one will answer or return calls at office or billing company. Keep sending me incorrect bills though. So frustrating.
I have been calling since friday 10/8/2021. I have left numerous messages about being seen fresh out of the hospital as I was told to do and no one from this office has contacted not only me back but my physician back and it’s a pretty serious matter. This is a physicians office but does not return calls to other physicians or to patients There are people who need to be seen and are being ignored.
I had my appt with the doctor on Friday, April 23rd and the prescription she gave me the Air Base does not carry so I called the office and left a message on Monday, April 26th and then someone called me on Tuesday, April 27th stating that it was in processing to make the change. Now it's Wednesday, April 28th and I still haven't heard from anyone. I don't know what the problem is but thank goodness this isn't an emergency because if it was I don't know how they would handle it.
Everyone is very friendly. No wait like other doctors we have been too. Doctor has great bedside manner
