Great to watch the student take off and land.  There is a fence in area with picnic table right by the run way to sit and watch. We spoke to a couple students with questions about what we were observing, they were so nice and knowledgeable.

Absolutely horrible flight program. Its a huge waste of time and money to train here. The Chiefs aren't helpful, instructors are only there for the hours and will leave you stranded partway through your training with no replacement to pick up where they left you. Go Part 61. It's less of a PITA.

The planes keep flying over our house.  We live by the airport and they keep flying overhead.  The planes are loud because they have loud engines.  I think the city sends them here to rezone. I will not gentrify.  #nogentrificationwithoutrepresentation #newmayor      They also spray lead everywhere.  My uncle died of asbestos poisoning.  He always said there was lead in that there fuel.  He was right because I smell it and now he dead.  They're chem trailing.  #nowthatschemtrailing.  I try to hunt there too but the planes keep hitting them.  Anyway I need to get back to my book.  I am an author.  So that's why my opinion matters.  STOP FLYING NOWWWWW!!!!!

Kent State University airport is a busy non-towered general aviation field with good airport infrastructure and pilot friendly airspace.  Fuel and parking is readily available but there is no courtesy car. It is somewhat unusual in that there is no conventional FBO. The airport is set up primarily for university student pilot instruction.  The facility feels more like a student gathering place than an FBO

Great place. Made a smooth landing and had an opportunity to visit with friends at Kent State. Fueled up and then headed home. Great day. Great people.

Live near the airport and love watching and hearing the planes practice over head. Occasionally they route directly over our house and I can see them up close. They quietly coast when close to the homes. Peak season, it's fun to go out by the road and watch them take off and land.

I love it here! Safety oriented, profesionalism centric, home of many great pilots with a passion for transporting people across the country. If you like getting home for Christmas, support Kent States flying program. Pilots have to start somewhere!!!!

Yes, it's 7:05 pm, on a Monday, and your planes are continuously banking over my house - NON-STOP for 10 hours. I would sell my house and move out of this city without a problem, but who is going to buy a huge piece of land except a developer. And then all those new houses will complain about the noise as well. Especially, when it non-stop, every day. Since writing this review four planes have flew over/banked my house. It is now 7:14 pm.  Had to jump back on and edit: plane number five since this review was written made a pass 7:18 pm. I'll stop adding to this review - you all get the picture,

KSU  65 grad.  Great airport when it had grass runways.  Put snow ski on the J3 and took turns doing take off and landings.

Nice little air show.
