The Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame was born out of an idea from the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches. Under the direction of North Hardin High School's Men's Head Basketball Coach Ron Bevars, the project began in October 2009 with the stated purpose of recognizing and protecting the heritage of Kentucky High School Basketball. The Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame is dedicated to promoting and educating the public about the culture, tradition and rich heritage of Kentucky High School Basketball. It will honor and provide a fitting tribute to former players and coaches while preserving and displaying historical information and memorabilia associated with the game.
