So my husband and our 2 friends all went to see a 2:30 movie and we got popcorn and our drink $15 and their coke tasted awful on all machines like there’s no flavor. We get to sit down to watch our movie and the movie projector broke down so no movie. I don’t get why they just couldn’t move us to another room that was unoccupied to watch it. They refunded us our tickets but wouldn’t refund our popcorn and drinks! It was a complete disaster and ruined our plans for the day! We NEVER had any issues with this place until today! Absolute disaster!
We had a fantastic time at the movies with my husband and in-laws!! The movie was great popcorn delicious everything's just great
This theater runs like a well oiled machine. Always clean. Plenty of theaters with a wide selection of movie times and titles. Great for date night. Great for family time. Great for girlfriend night. Don't forget the popcorn!!
The people working there are usually quite friendly and helpful. Popcorn and soda are pretty steep but always fresh and tasty. A nice way to burn off a few hours in Kokomo.
Very clean, friendly employees. Would love to see the concession prices come down a little. ‍ Seriously, it's popcorn and a soft drink. How much $ do you really need to charge.
I was impressed with how clean everything was! The bathrooms are always nice and well stocked. Movie ticket prices were fair, but be prepared to spend more money on popcorn and drinks than the tickets... it was only about $12 for 2 tickets and over $25 for a popcorn, one large drink, a water, and a hotdog... with a stubs card.
It was very cold and even on the cheapest day of the week Tuesday it was very expensive, I have not been to a movie theater in 10 years and now I see why. I will stick to steaming at home, often the movies are available the same day released in the theater.
Our Kokomo AMC has great theaters. We went to see the new Avatar movie tonight. Both the theater & movie did not disappoint!
I love this theater!! Perfect movie ticket price and standard theater seats, it's a wonderful place for a family friendly movie experience. Only reason for the four stars is your staff are stressed and snacks prices are high compared to others. The night we were there was June tenth for the 5:10 Jurassic Park movie. Staff kept sighing and looked really down, as well as a single large soda cost almost as much as a movie ticket. Also slushies are more than a movie ticket and if you do try to get a refill the staff WILL yell at you and will tell you have to pay for another slushy then, that the 8+ dollars you pay originally is for a single cup fill, which officially makes it the most expensive slushy I've ever had. I just threw the cup away. I'm ok with the whole slushy thing, but please treat your staff better and get more people to help them. I've worked fast food so ik the feeling of being highly stressed and overworked for an underpaying job bc when I worked there for two years when my pay was minimum wage, before they changed it to the now 15 and I'm telling you treating your employees well is the least you can do for them as an employer. It will make a ton of a difference, and can drastically change the mood in a workplace. Other than that it's a good place to go to watch a movie, loved the movie!!
We recently went to see the new Jurassic Park at this theater, and the service we experienced was poor. The soap dispensers in the restroom were empty, and an employee in the restroom stated, ”We have been swamped lately, so we don’t have time to fill the soap dispensers.” This was an odd statement given the fact that we were the only family in the lobby and there were 6+ staff standing around and talking. In addition, the snack bar closed before the movie ended, and when we asked if we could have a popcorn refill, the employee said she wasn’t allowed to help us and walked away.
