Ultrasound technician here is so unprofessional, she brings her personal problems to work. She was obviously not raised with respect and decency in her household. I only asked her so respectfully for a brighter baby Ultrasound scan picture. If she didn't want to provide me with a proper picture that's fine just be professional and say no, she has no right to say Irrelevant and rude things to Patient. She goes on about picture frame, noone even asked for a picture frame.
I needed an X-Ray done so I came here. The staff were kind and friendly. The office was immaculate. The technician who did my X-Ray was very helpful and answered my questions about the process. The best part was they booked me with short notice.
The office is clean and smells fresh one of the things I look for with medical offices. The staff were quick and friendly. They explained the images very well and explained what they were doing as the session progressed :D
Had the best first experience for an ultrasound! Both the receptionist and the tech were great! Thank you Lilian for making this first time experience great and for also making me feel comfortable during the process.
I had my 20 week anatomy scan in February , the ultrasound went well, I was told that I was going to receive a phone call to come back, as the baby was not in the right position, Never ended up hearing back, had to reach out and contact them. Ended up finishing it at 23 weeks . She did the anatomy scan, and at the end I was able to see the baby for 30 seconds I got one photo. Very disappointed as there is much more to see , so upset with my experience and will request to go somewhere else for future ultrasounds.
I went for my anatomy scan and didn’t end up seeing my baby at all, plus the tech wasn’t sure of gender I previously found out at a private clinic and told me she wasn’t sure as everything was too small. However when my boyfriend came in she said “ I can’t tell what it is but it looks like a boy those look like 2 balls “ then proceeded to say she thinks it’s a boy while showing him something on the screen, no idea what she showed him as she didn’t think to show me what she was talking about. I didn’t think to ask because I’ve never had to ask to see the screen before. All In all very disappointed she said something about the gender if she wasn’t sure she could even see anything. She’s been fine before this appointment but I was left very frustrated and disheartened as the scan was for anatomy and we weren’t really concerned with gender
Back in December I was to get a mammogram but the wait in Newmarket was to the end of April. I could not wait that long so I called this place. Got an appointment in less than a week. Even though the requisition was slow getting there...they knew it was on its way today..so they went ahead and gave me my needed mammogram. The front staff and tech were outstanding.
Receptionists nice and friendly so this review is not reflected on them. I had to go here for my ultra sound visits during my first pregnancy. The ultra sound technician said I wasn’t allowed to have my fiancé in the room when he booked a day off work to come in with me. We didn’t give her a hard time because employees don’t make the rules for covid. For my final ultra sound appointment I asked the receptionist if I could have my fiancé in for my last appointment so he could experience an ultra sound visit and see his baby girl. She further explained that he has been allowed to come to my appointments from the time I was 18 weeks to the present time. So I brought him in to the final ultra sound appointment in which I had a different ultra sound technician. She was very rude off the bat. Told my fiancé he couldn’t come in. During the ultra sound appointment she jabbed at my side when the baby wasn’t in the right position. There are nicer ways to do things! Then she told me that there is no point in having my fiancé come in because the baby is so squished he won’t be able to see. I said I’d like for him to see regardless because I was told for my whole pregnancy he wasn’t allowed in. When she brought him in she told him to stand in the corner and showed him so quickly I could barley even see her myself. Really disappointed in the manners during the ultra sound. You would think they would treat the patient kindly because it’s a once in a life time experience. Unfortunately not.
I have had good experiences here. I've been twice now for different reasons and the receptionists are always friendly and prompt. Booking appointments has also been a breeze. My appointments have both run on time. My first time the technician wasn't overly friendly - she was blonde with an accent. She wasn't rude by any means - just super formal and to the point. She didn't really talk to me or explain what she was doing, and there definitely wasn't a smile cracked. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Today I had Holly as my technician and she was phenomenol!! She explained everything, had a fantastic bedside manner and was super cheerful. She truly made the experience wonderful. It truly does make a difference when a technician puts on a smile, no matter what type of imaging you are receiving. Holly deserves 5 stars!
Front desk staff are awesome - chatty, friendly, helpful, and professional. The x-ray tech was professional and I don't care that she wasn't terribly chatty - she did her job well, articulated clearly what she wanted from me, and got me out ASAP. I then had the misfortune of meeting with 2 ultrasound techs. Both were condescending and rude. The first was unable to clearly articulate what she needed me to do asked me to flex my foot when what she wanted was for me to place it flat on the table then was frustrated when I didn't know what she meant. She asked what I'd done to my ankle and when I explained, she said in an accusing way that there was too much swelling all over. Yes. That is why I was sent for the ultrasound. Because it wasn't normal. And the doctor couldn't see inside my skin. Sigh. The second wanted to know why the calf needed to be looked at. Um...I dunno? Because the Dr asked it to be? She then huffily told me that the calf was the whole rear part of my lower leg. Yes, thank you. I have a basic grasp on anatomy. She then spent about 90 seconds going over it and sent me out. So, not really professional. Overall, I'd rather just drive to newmarket and wait in line. Professionalism matters
