Kettering Rec Center

Clean, with lots of amenities and reasonable membership fees. This is an excellent rec center and the city of Kettering should be very proud of it!

Ice rink and locker rooms, especially showers, could be better, but it's better than South Metro.

This is a great place to swim and workout the hit tub and steam room is great just remember. Not to talk to the woman who check you in they do not like talking much

Love this place! We are always here my daughter plays basketball and soccer here and we go for occasional swimming and fun events like wagoween and sometimes even ice skating!

We love the swimming pools and bought passes for the summer. We didn’t realize that the “indoor” pool would be closed during the summer. Basically the whole outdoor area is geared toward little kids. There’s nowhere for adults and teens to go and just chill in the pool. There’s a walking pool area, but the outdoor pools are always so crowded and busy. I just wish they’d open the inside pool up. It’s for lap swimming only but I’ve not seen it being used once. The reef hours are only 12-5 so I’m not sure why they can’t have lap hours before and after…. The reef is really good for little kids and honestly if it was less crowded it would probably be a great time. I gave it 3 stars bc of it being so crowded and not opening the big pool.

Always a positive experience with the kids classes. Definitely recommend. Kind, capable teachers, well organized.

This rating is solely based off of a first impression. I went for a health fair that Kettering Health Network hosted. They offered free exercise classes, a health lecture, and a cooking demo. From what I could tell the center has a lot of activities to offer I would definitely go again. A very family-friendly facility, lots of parking which depending on what time of day you arrive you may have a nice walk to the building. This is a nice size facility.

We came to watch a women's hockey game and had a good time. The arena is older and could probably stand an upgrade, but we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless. They have vending machines and a concession stand. The restrooms were clean.

This is a really nice Rec Center. looked it over online, but have previously been there.

Always the way it should be. Whether it is a kids birthday party or a class you wish to take, they always have it covered. Many activities to choose from. Activities for all ages, little ones to seniors, you can do it here. Great place for the community.
