After a week of calling and waiting for 3 other companies all recommended to get back to me, I found Key Shoppe on Google. The basics are... the phone was answered promptly, an appointment was set for the same day, the tech was on time, the work was finished without issue, and the price was fair. BUT... I want to add, the lady that answered the phone Tiffany, I think was so polite and friendly. I think she could tell I was a little exasperated from the other companies. She set up the appointment immediately. I didn't have to wait for a call back. Also, I want to commend Randy Davis the lock tech who arrived on time, was both professional and friendly, offered me several options, explained everything, and finished his work with a smile. The pricing was very reasonable, especially given the fact another company quoted me $10 for each copy of a key!!! I am impressed by the work, the pricing, and the customer service I received. This will be my go-to locksmith, and I will happily recommend them to my family, friends, and business associates. Great job!

My company sent me here for some keys,and there was a very fat gentleman in there,that was very rude and would not let me use an ink pen to sign the paperwork! I am glad I don't have to pay for this kind of service. If I could this place a 0, I would. You don't like your job,you need to leave.
My key was stuck in my ignition and the guy who helped me was very insightful and fixed the problem quickly. Highly recommend this shop.

I called the office on Thursday,February 17 and requested to get a key for my 2015 Ford Escape.The lady advised me she had one in stock and it was refurbished.I requested her to hold the key as I could not come until Saturday due to Mardi Gras parades.I called on Friday February 18 and spoke with a gentleman to confirm the key was still being held since I have to travel from out of town.The man was EXTREMELY rude and kept telling me "I have several different styles in stock."This is different than the information previously given.After numerous times trying to explain to the gentleman what I was told previously he then hung up the telephone!I called back and requested to speak to a manager to discuss this situation.The same man answered the telephone and as soon as I asked to speak to a manager he hung up the phone a second time.This is horrible customer service and what kind of business hangs up the phone on potential customers?I will definitely take my business elsewhere and DO NOT RECOMMEND this business to anyone.Sad, Sad.
Scott offered knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy. I was impressed with his skill and the job he did was exceptional. I highly recommend using them for any of the services that they offer. He did multiple jobs for me today. He offers a wealth of information concerning codes and making me feel safe in my home.
Terrible company, DO NOT get programmable keys done here!!!! I brought in some blanks purchased from another locksmith who lacked the software to pre code the keys but referred me to these folks to finish the job and a working key for my van. They charged me full price to program and cut the keys as if I had bought the blank from them. As she was cutting the keys she made me sign a waiver saying that if the keys did not work that they would not be responsible as they were not their blanks, but had I bought the keys from her...I would have had guarantees. Then the problem occurred: The tech could not get one of the blanks to work and seemed very confused. She said she needed to disconnect my battery to finish...she completed her task and came back with a key that worked and a key that she said did not work but said I still had to pay full price...but the kicker was somehow she also managed to make my original key no longer function, and now my check engine light was also coming on. When I complained about the broken key, the owner showed up threw the keys at me, got in my face to intimidate me and physically threatened me. No refunds, no fixed key and I only had the same number of working keys I came in with despite being billed $217. Thieves.
