Our teaching system is based on a progressive syllabus allowing everyone to improve at their own pace with proper technique and guidance. Ballet is a performing art that instills poise and confidence, grace and strength. Ballet will improve flexibility and balance. Students who become proficient at ballet are able to learn and perform other styles of dance at a faster pace. Ballet helps children by encouraging their development of focus, determination and self- control. Adults will discover ballet to be a fun and ideal way to exercise. Keystone Ballet Academy (KBA) is a dance studio focused primarily on a classical ballet curriculum. Ballet is considered to be the center point of all dance styles. A dancer with a solid foundation in ballet technique gains the control and artistry to be a better overall dancer.
It is the studio’s mission to teach and promote classical ballet as an art form. Students can study ballet to pursue a dance career or enjoy ballet as recreation and exercise. Classes are offered to adults and provide an ideal form of exercise.
For every student there is an emphasis on learning proper technique and body alignment safely. Consistently studying ballet gives students focus, coordination, and musicality while gaining strength and flexibility.
