Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs! I recently had the misfortune of dining at this establishment, and I must say, it was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The food was not only cold, but it also tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The oil used in the dishes seemed old and rancid, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. To make matters worse, the staff was incredibly loud and disruptive. Instead of providing a peaceful dining atmosphere, I found myself surrounded by their constant fighting and arguing. It was impossible to enjoy my meal or have a conversation without being interrupted by their loud voices. I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am with this place. The lack of attention to food quality and the unprofessional behavior of the staff are simply unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone considering dining here to look elsewhere for a better experience. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this restaurant at all costs. There are plenty of other establishments that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide a pleasant dining environment. Don't waste your time and money on this subpar and chaotic establishment.
Back in the 70s when I first came to America, KFC and Wendy’s were my favorite fast food restaurants. Those were the heydays of the American fast food industry. Today, both of those chains have gone right down the toilet, and Colonel Sanders, and Dave Thomas must be turning in their graves right now. I came to this KFC to get an eight piece bucket of chicken and a large order of fries, and that was it. Not complicated. I was the first person in line because I was the only person in the store, but I still had to wait a full five minutes for somebody to even come to the counter, even though there were staff milling around the preparation area the entire time in full view of the counter. When I was finally able to place my order, I was informed that there were no fries today because “the truck had not arrived”. OK no problem, can I just have the bucket of chicken?. Paid for my order, and waited almost another five minutes, nobody was doing anything. All this time there are only two customers in the store, me, and one other person behind me. They were not busy. Finally, I stepped back up to the counter and asked what the delay was and how long was I going to have to wait. The staff looked at me as if I’ve just come from Mars, how dare I ask such a question? My bucket of chicken finally appears, and one of the staff says “See? he already had it!” Well, if he already had it, why didn’t he give it to me five minutes ago? … I don’t know who the franchise holder is for this store, but I do know that he or she is fast asleep at the wheel. And if Colonel Sanders was still alive today, every one of those staff members in that store would be fired on the spot, because there’s not a single one of them who deserves to be representing the KFC brand. I suggest you go somewhere else to spend your money if you want some good food, the fried chicken at Publix is way better, and served to you courteously, promptly, and with a smile. Plus it’s a lot cheaper.
Ordered a chicken sandwich box.. I received two dry hard as rock tiny chicken tenders, not a sandwich, that barely covered the bread with a dot of Mayo. It was inedible. I called for several days to attempt to talk to someone for help with a refund. No call was ever answered. I emailed corporate and was mailed a $5 coupon. The chicken sandwich cost more than $5.50. Before tax….So I couldn’t even use it for one if I wanted to. Oh and they forgot the sauce that I had to pay for each.
Food quality was better than expected. Service was reasonably friendly. My wife and I each ordered a 2 piece combo via the drive thru. We received one incorrect side, no straws, no napkins, and no utensils.Food: 5/5
The location is not bad. It’s close to Harbour Freight which I like. Staff is nice pleasant but there’s a wait. They are pushing customers to purchase their famous bowl. I’ll try that next time. It’s only $5. This time I order a chicken pot pie. It’s still good as ever. The price has gone up. It’s 5.99 now. It’s totally worth it.
I usually don’t write anything I just give it stars depending on service and food quality, unless it’s extremely bad so I didn’t know I couldn’t write a new review so I edited an older one! So I tried this location again after a few months and yes it’s the Worst service ever and worst KFC restaurant in a 30 mile radius! Beyond. Slow, as in I received my food 25 minutes after I ordered at the drive thru the fries were hot the chicken sandwich was cold and soggy the “famous bowl” had been microwaved too many times it was over cooked and still cold then the workers were extremely rude uncaring seemed miserable, they spent more time talking to each other than actually doing work so I don’t know if it was because they were short handed or just don’t care! NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT AND CREW OR AT THE LEAST TRAINING!!! I sent these pics in because I ordered my food at 9:09 it is now 9:55 pm so that how long I sat in the parking lot waiting for the food I paid for and I did get it until I went in and still the order was wrong but intifada going in to get the rest of my food I just wrote it off because I did not want spit in food! The staff was so nasty and put out that I actually went in wanting my $45 worth of food I couldn’t trust them anymore so I went to Popeyes down the road. The workers at KFC definitely hate their jobs and hate the customers for making them work!!
When I got there I waited standing for 10 min and finally I decided to be assertive and ask when is someone going to take my order. The girl there says well we have to work on the deliveries first plus there were people in front of me. I Left and complained to corporate which was a waste of time. No one called me about this. I went back in and I was infront of this guy but some other customer said he was in front of me. Anyway I just left and I'll never go back. The problem is they don't care. If Corporate reads this - that manager needs to be fired and so does most of the staff. They don't know anything about customer service but worse of all they don't care! they work at a snail pace. They refuse to take care of the counter if they have deliveries. How about hiring someone 1 person for the counter and 1 for the deliveries?
Ordered online via the app, so I could pick up from drive thru. I was told I had to go inside. Well, being disabled I said 'this is NOT cool' and proceeded inside to get the order. It was during a downpour. I usually use a walker, but decided to use my cane, as I would be bringing out the food. The Mac n cheese and bowl meal were in a paper bag that got soaking wet, and promptly tore open, nearly spilling the bowls of food. Got home, the fries were cold, biscuits were hard, no sauces were given for the 20.00 fill up box. I do not understand why I had to come inside, when someone could have just passed it through the drive thru. I took another chance on this location. Half my order is missing, no sauces, biscuits so hard they are inedible. This is the last time I will ever order from them. How do they stay in business. And now I have been on hold with the customer service for over 20 minutes. Do yourself a favor and go to publix for chicken dinners.
Their food is fine, but I ordered my food in the drive-through at 5:36pm and was asked to pull to the side and wait. At 5:52pm, I went inside and asked where my food was. Then I had to wait while staff argued whose responsibility it was to take care of me. After that, the guy who seemed like the shift leader told me it was going to be another 10 minutes before my food was ready. At this point, it would have cost me the same amount of money to go to a sit-down restaurant. And it would have taken less time. I'm staying here because I've already waited this long, but I don't think I will come back here. There's only about 10 other places to get fried chicken in Daytona. It is now 6:01pm and I've been waiting in the parking lot for 25 minutes. Meanwhile, cars have been flying through the drive-through
Good deals shared online have to be ordered online. I didn't know when I went but a nice counter person let me know, gave me a drink cup and he asked me to sit down and place my order. I did and enjoyed KFC like we used to with great deals! Great food!Food: 4/5
