With the dawn of casino gaming in Pennsylvania, the company got its start as the exclusive state distributor of slot machines from Aristocrat Technologies. But from day one, company CEO Howard Weiss knew he wanted to be more than a storefront distributor. He wanted to build a business.
Soon after opening, KGM branched out in a big way. The company became the go-to supplier for custom seating, slot bases, slot seating, pit-stands, signage and graphics to the newly-licensed Pennsylvania casinos and beyond. During this time KGM earned the reputation as a premium gaming supplier with the resources necessary to enable a casino to open on time with the highest quality products. Many of those products were and still are manufactured completely in-house.
In 2007 KGM expanded its operations and sales force. The company also secured long-term agreements with valuable manufacturing partners including Ainsworth Game Technologies. Extensive research and competitor analysis enabled KGM to provide the highest quality products at the most competitive prices. To support its growing library of products, KGM also grew its installation and service capabilities.
To date, KGM has successfully installed products throughout North America, Canada and the Caribbean.
With its land-based divisions running at peak performance, KGM has turned its focus to the next big opportunity in gaming: online gambling. On July 26 of 2013, KGM Gaming became the first privately-owned east coast company to submit a remote gaming server to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. In partnership with Spin Games, KGM is positioned to provide flexible HTML 5 online gambling services to casino operators in New Jersey and beyond.
