The class is set up to help parent's and Kid's be able to get along in the kitchen.

Description

The class is hands on we teach the kid's how to use every day items that they have at home to create meals. The classes last about two hours from start to finish.

Mission

To lift the spirits and make some great memories of being a part of something bigger..... Family.

We did the thai cooking class for my brothers bachelor party and it turned out amazing. Very informative and the whole experience was extremely fun. The food turned out fantastic!!! I have done class at food markets and this was hands down a way better experience. Chef Tate and his wife Chef Kathleen put together the best cooking class I have attended. Would highly recommend to check them out!!!
Went to a friends birthday party at Chef of the House. The place is so quaint and set up perfectly. The Chef's Oscar and Kathleen where both informative and helpful with teaching up how to make street taco's and salsa. They engaged us and made cooking fun. It tasted great!. I will be going back to learn new cooking techniques and recipes. I highly recommend this place for a enjoyable experience and learning something new. ENJOY. Thanks Chef of the House
We had a team building event for work here, and it was one of the best events we've had! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff was fun and friendly, and the food was amazing! We had a great time challenging ourselves, working together, and even competing with each other. This was a direct quote from one of our team members the following day, " I haven't laughed that hard with a group of adults since I had kids!" I highly recommend this venue for team building or just a fun night out with friends!
We had my daughter's 5th birthday party here and it was absolutely PERFECT! Everything was so organized and the children and adults had a blast! : The owner was willing to work with our theme and interests as well as provide a full 2 hours of fun! I would definitely recommend Chef of the House!
Had a birthday party for a friend and there were about 15 of us and we made street tacos!! So much fun!! Everything is so fresh and clean and Chef Oscar was engaging and helpful. I will definitely go back and highly recommend this place. Thanks for such an enjoyable time!!
This is overall an amazing kitchen studio and cannot wait for it to be open, I am fascinated by the hands on experience that these skilled Chefs have incorporated into the past summer camp and expect no less for "Chef of the House". The experience makes it feel like you are in a real culinary school kitchen and wanting to go back for every class available. I enjoy that they cover all age groups and audiences from kids birthday parties, business corporations, couples night, or just an adult party. I am speechless from the experience I have had and I highly recommend this to anyone that loves to eat.
Had my daughters birthday here and it was a blast! Chef Kathleen and her assistants were great with the girls and they had an amazing time getting to decorate cupcakes and make their own food, which was also an easy recipe and decorating tricks for them to learn for quick at home eats and treats. Chef of the House is such a fun experience! There aren't many places like it and Chef Kathleen and Chef Tate are so passionate about what they do. It's so great to learn for people that actually know what they're doing. If you're looking for a fun thing to do with your friends or children, this is the place to go!
I can't say enough good things about Chef of the House! My kids went to a story time there and she had so many snacks for kids AND parents, so many little food activities for them to do, read them a story that tied in, AND even gave each of the children the book she read to take home! The owner is formally a teacher, and she really has combined her love of teaching and cooking into the coolest place. She hosts cooking classes for all ages and parties. We have had a child's party there previously and it was so awesome to not have to do a thing and just get to enjoy the party with my son plus the best part is she cleans up too haha!. They do prescheduled classes that you can see on their website or private events. Check out their new location if you haven't yet.
I have loved both cooking classes I have done here so far, and I will definitely be going back for more! One was one of their planned events Cajun night and one was for a birthday party. My husband says he would keep going back and that we made the best grits and gumbo he has ever had here!
