"Kids Zone Behavioral Health is a treatment facility that hopes to meet the growing need for accessible mental health care in the LaGrange community and surrounding areas. We provide mental health treatment and services for diversified populations in an environment promoting mental and emotional well-being for our clients of all ages. Mental health services will be available for child and adolescent behavioral challenges, treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, Autism, and family difficulties. Originally, Kids Zone is a place I would refer anyone to. I liked all of their practitioners; however, slowly the practice has changed. I currently have a substantial credit to my account and have been trying for over 3 months to get that amount sent back to me. I received a very rude email from Jordan Childs stating they have no obligations or contract with my insurance along with other excuses. They were informed by me it was accidentally sent to them before it had even hit their account and I was told then they would cut me a check and it would be sent. At this point I doubt they even have the money to cut the check. How’s this has been handled is truly unprofessional
My son has been coming to therapy at Kids Zone for several years now. Mrs. Alex has been so wonderful and caring. She always listens to my concerns with my son and helps me address and solve them. The front desk staff, especially Mrs. Jamie, have always been very great with communication and helping us get an appointment time that works for us. Mrs. Debbie has recently become a part of my sons care team. She does a great job working with the other members of the staff to make sure we are all on the same page about the treatment expectations. The other therapist in the office are always speaking to my son and know him by name even though he is not their patient to give us that home feeling. I have recommended Kids Zone to several friends and they have seen great results with their children as well. Keep up the great work!!
They got all of my child's information months ago and after several attempts to contact them about scheduling an appt since they never called me back i finally gave up! Extremely unprofessional
I have been trying to make an appointment but I can't get no one on the phone. I leave messages and no one calls me back. I have texted and still no appointment.
I absolutely love Mrs. Debbie Butler but the front desk manager is Very Rude ,, she comes off as prejudice to certain people . I would call she always always always trying to make me pay for something for example if I’m scheduled for a telecom appointment and the Doctor doesn’t call she will turn around and make it a no call no show when that’s not my fault and she has done that twice ! My last time talking to her I was out of meds and was trying to schedule an appointment and she wouldn’t even give me the chance to pay at the appointment better yet schedule one . Told me she would speak with the doctor and call me back and never did .. about a month later I called and spoke with someone else up front and didn’t have No problems whatsoever scheduling an appointment and being able to have the chance at paying at THAT specific appointment. And lastly I had been waiting to pick up my prescription I’m talking to the front desk lady NOT her because they said the prescriptions that wasn’t picked up was mailed out first WHY would you mail out prescriptions when anybody could go get them filled with just a ID especially adderall ,, so I ask them why didn’t they call nor text like they said they would do so I can pick it up .. she jumped in the conversation from the other room assuming I’m lying and just wanted to have a argument when I clearly wasn’t even speaking to her .! Worst Office Manager EVER but the Doctors are pretty good Jamie will be the reason people leave . Mailing out prescriptions shouldn’t even be legal especially when you just mailing to any address without confirming the correct mailing address ..
My son has been going here for about a year and we are blessed to have such caring people helping my son with his needs!! The progress he has made is amazing!! Mrs.Kit and Mrs. Debbie are so good with him!! We love our KZBH family!!
I would think twice about using this practice for your children. My two children have had sessions with Ms. Child for almost a year and have admittedly made no significant progress. Upon requesting a summarization of each of my children's past sessions, their progress and a recommendation for future action and living arrangements, I received about 10 pages per child with substantial "copying and pasting", statement duplications and numerous times in each where Ms. Child incorrectly identified who was actually being described in that situation. To my surprise, a few months later, Ms. Child then provided testimony at a substantially lower cost than she had provided me in court regarding my children's future best interest and where they should reside, and made an entirely different recommendation than what she had provided in the summarization after having 1 session with one child and 4 sessions with the other following her original recommendation. It was such a surprise that in the case, the Judge stated that, he thought that I had done everything right and that the mother had done everything wrong, verbally reprimanded the mother, however he couldn't go against an "expert" in the field, and because of that both children are being left in their current environment and after there has been no significant progress made.
mrs courtney is the best therapist i’ve had and the first to actually understand me. the atmosphere in the waiting room is pleasant
Gives bad diagnosis when a parent is referred by the state. Would suggest you go elsewhere if you want an ACCURATE psychology exam.
Strongly advise parents to take their precious children to a different place.
