Let me start off by saying although there was quite a wait, it was completely worth it! Tara our waitress was AMAZING, she made our visit so memorable and was truly so attentive! The Korean bbq was delicious, and the sides complemented the meal perfectly. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend!
Great food for a great price. Ordered a two person option and it was enough for three. The marinated meats were very flavorful. All the side dishes were very good as well! Highly recommend if you are a fan of Korean BBQ. The only downside was it was extremely humid in the building for about 15 or 20 mins and the sweet tea wasn't that good. We did arrive as soon as they opened and were seated quickly.
We always enjoy eating here! Is the place under new management?Customer service seems to be much better than I remember from a year or so ago. Wait staff has matching shirts. I can't remember all of the names of the waitresses, but Grace stand out as a good customer service representative for the restaurant, as well as the blonde haired lady and the two Filipina ladies. The food seems much more flavorful too!
Second time visiting this restaurant. The first time was great and the food was great as well. This time the food was very good but our waitress turned our BBQ up way too high, which caused things to start burning almost immediately. Thanks to one of the other waitresses who noticed and came to turn it down and get us another grill top, the rest of our dinner was saved. After that it was perfect and food was able to be cooked perfectly. We got the meal for 2 with short ribs. Omg it's so much food, definitely can feed 2-4 people with it. My wife and I brought home a lot. Tried all the sides, but definitely had my favorites. Some not so much, but to each their own. To drink, my wife and I got frozen strawberry margaritas. And I gotta be honest they were horrible. There was definitely alcohol in them but zero mixer. Tasted like frozen tequila yuck, and no strawberry flavor or sweetness at all. For $8 each I was a little disappointed. That I could get over. What made me want to give a poor 2 star review was our server. She was horrible. First she took forever to even take our drink orders, then disappeared. Then like 20 mins later she comes back, almost as if she was rushing us to order and she was bothered by having to serve us. Then she brings our meat and sides like 15 minutes later and disappeared again, completely forgetting the dumpling soup we ordered. We didn't see her again until she was bringing me the check then stood there until I put my card in the little fold. She came right back and disappeared again. All in all, the experience was ok. It was our anniversary to top it off, but she never bothered to talk to us or try to build a rapport to find that out. My wife couldn't even ask her where the restroom was because she refused to come near our table. We left with a unsure feeling, and I dreaded leaving this review because the food is really good. My review reflects only 4 stars because of our waitress. I had to dock them for her horrible people skills and down right poor service. The food and the other staff were exceptional.
This place took us back to our time in Korea! So delicious! Was seated right away, but service was a little slow. They were pretty busy, so waitress seemed to be pulled in a lot of directions. Still, our food was delicious, and included side dishes, bbq, japchae, bimimbap, and gimbap! Will definitely be backDine in: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
Had an amazing dinner here. Enjoyed kimchi stew, combo fried rice and also beef fried rice, alongside jajangmyeon. All the dishes were great in flavor and service was excellent!Dine in: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
Delicious food, extensive menu. There was only one server the day we went, and she was really pulled thin. Despite this, she was kind and took the time to offer suggestions from the menu. The food was in generous portions, so there was leftovers the next day for lunch.
If you have been to South Korea, this will bring back plenty of memories by familiar tastes and experiences! I would also dare to say that if you ever wanted to try Korean cuisine this is a great spot. The staff were pretty awesome and helpful. For example we ordered quite a bit of food and they asked if it was ok that they cook some to save us time. Some pricey things, but if you know what it is you want youre good!
Visually, close to the authentic Korean I remember from Kunsan. Taste, OH MY GOSH!....Heavenly. Tried the spicy chicken bolgogi, mandu, soju fruit punch, and the spring rolls. My wife had the beef bolgogi and praised the chef. A must try if you are in the area. Wish I lived closer to be a regular.
The worst Korean restaurant ever! Want to how much this normal porridge worthjust rice and carrot? Yes! You are right! $20! And not only this one, they tried to increase the price by adding unnecessary materials, so the whole price is so expensive and unworthy. Please guess again, how many people we have? Yes! You are totally right! 2! And they circled the tip they wanted…..don’t they know what they are doing? I will just give you an example in case anyone think I don’t know what is real Korean food, last photo is the instant abalone porridge I bought at H mart.
