My husband said best sushi rolls he has ever had and way cheaper too than the Sushi restaurant we frequent back home. I have never had Teriyaki Beef that delicious before. The price included it, soup, and a salad. All the establishments back home are soup or salad, definitely not both! Can you come to NC lol?Food: 5/5
I am staying at a hotel near by and found this place to walk over to grab a bite. What a gem of a place!! I ordered their specials on the menu and it was absolutely delightful. I am not the best picture taker but I took a picture of some of the things I ordered and added it here. Wow! The taste was phenomenal. Come see and taste it for yourself and you will love it! The service here was awesome as well. Come by and you be the judge. :
This place is great, words can't describe how satisfied I am with this little spot, I've always been big on food presentation, my goodness! The chefs here really do take pride in their artistry, the portions and size of the rolls are abundant, the taste out of this world with the sauces perfectly being paired up with the entree served, they have a plethora of sushi roll combinations and to top it off they offer complimentary ice cream for dessert. A must to visit this spot, guaranteed to become a regular, it has for me.
Nice place for sushi my gf loves it as well. The employees are nice the gentleman who served us was polite and kept coming back making sure we were OK with drinks or if we needed anything else. I always get the baked salmon roll it's delicious.Food: 5/5
Some of the sushi itself is okay at best, but what really disappointed me was the Ramen. I understand that this is a sushi place but the ramen's soup tasted like water with a minor amount of salt. The noodles themselves didn't even absorb what little flavor there was and the pork felt unseasoned and very bland. Very disappointed with the price to flavor ratio. Not sure if I was there on a bad day but the food just was not the best.
He have been regular customers since Summer of 2014, we love the variety of sushi dishes and other Japanese plates they offer, the quality is very good, even is kind of pricey but it's worth it.Food: 5/5

1st diners for lunch. Salmon sashimi and bento lunch was awful, the fish tasted like it's been there a while. Almost didn't make it home to my throne!! Good luck if you eat there and don't feel that good after you've eaten there.Food: 1/5
Always go here when I feel like Japanese. Food is always awesome and service is on point friendly staff. No complaints so far and I've been going here for years. I usually get the special combo meals which you can mix and match chicken, beef, fish, shrimp, etc.. Give them a try if you're passing by and this might be your new favorite place.
One of my favorite sushi places in the Monrovia area. Everything tasted fresh. I got the bento box, with mackerel and sashimi. The portions were pretty big, so I was really happy about that. The hot green tea was refillable, I think they make it fresh, it's a genmai cha I believe, it even has some roasted rice floating about.
