"Grooming is more than just a haircut, it's a work of art."
I have always loved children and animals. My family always had dogs for pets. It was a good experience teaching me how to love and care for God’s creation. As a young adult, I also worked with children as a camp counselor and on the mission field. After two years of college, I worked as a pre-school teacher and a teacher’s aide.
I am a graduate of the prestigious Nash Academy of Animal Arts in Lexington, KY. At Nash, I studied the art of grooming and I learned the proper techniques for grooming dogs. I have been grooming in Paducah for six years. I have brought together my experience working with children (being a kind and patient respectful person speaking in a soothing, comforting tone). By applying these gentle techniques, I am able to gain trust from each dog and help them to have a pleasant stress free grooming experience.
Like children, our pets are such a big part of our lives. At Kimberly’s Precious Paws Grooming, we believe that each pet deserves the best quality and care we can give. This is our passion!
Kind Regards,

I chose to start grooming after I became a disabled veteran. In July of 2008 I started working with PetSmart, where they sent me to there grooming academy in Brentwood, TN. After finishing grooming school in Tennessee I returned to the PetSmart in Paducah to complete my certification. I have worked at both Lexington and Paducah PetSmart’s. When I moved back to the Paducah area, I decided a change of pace would be nice. The first time I walked into Kimberly’s Precious Paws Grooming, the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly personnel instantly charmed me.
In April 2011 I joined Kimberly’s Precious Paws, and have enjoyed my time with them since. Being able to build a relationship with each dog and its owner enables me to groom the pet to the exact specifications of the owner. I want each customer to leave having a great experience.
