King David Lodge No. 30 PH Montreal
King David Lodge U.D, Free and Accepted Masons, Prince Hall was founded on April 1,1989. This lodge is one of Thirteen Masonic Lodges that comprise The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Province of Ontario and Jurisdiction. The Lodge was issued a dispensation by Grand Master, J. Dan Bancroft on April 1, 1989. The Overseers appointed were Deputy Grand Master, Bro. Benjamin Layne, Grand Lecturer Emeritus, Bro. L.G.Brown and Grand Lecturer Bro. Charles Worrell.
King David Lodge U.D was later Warranted or Chartered under the Jurisdiction of The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Province of Ontario and Jurisdiction with the Number 30 and consecrated on, November 1989.
The First three Principle Officers were Bro. Harrison J. Francis, Worshipful Master, Bro. Trevor Bowen, Senior Warden and Bro. Gordon Williams, Junior Warden. Together with Bro. Anthony Thompson, Treasurer, Bro. Francis J. Nicholas, Secretary, Bro. Nathaniel Green, Bro. James Hopson, Bro. Eric Rawlins, Bro. Charles Ferguson, Bro. Phoenix Bishop, Bro. Nigel Clarke, Bro. Timothy Branch, Bro. Reynald Phillips, Bro. Roy Johnson. and Bro. Gordon Hughes. The above mentioned brothers were Initiated, Past and Raised By Mount Moriah Lodge No 24 on the weekend of April 1 and 2, 1989 and Three Principal Officers Healed. This comprises the founding and chartered members of this Lodge. The Lodge has continued to grow and practice the tenet of Masonry.
The Lodge assemble, at Harmony Masonic Hall, 14100 Pierrefonds Blvd in Pierrefonds Quebec at 7.00 p.m. Except the months of July and August.
The main object of the fraternity is the building and practice of moral and Social Virtues among its members and the spreading of “Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. From its inception, the Lodge has given financial and other types of assistance to distressed members of the community through its Charity.
