Was there 8/25/2020 and I had a really good experience for the most part, as usual I went in and out for milk and I didn't get a cart so by the time I got to the milk I had a few things in my basket a worker stocking the shelf saw and offer to get me a cart, really nice of him but I was on my way to the register already and I say no thanks, past the express checkout lane and the lady wasn't in the register but talking with someone didn't look like a customer saw me kind of standing and waiting for her to said something, like "give me a minute" or at least "I'm closed" etc. but nothing... so I went to the other register and this lady Carmen was really nice and friendly. Store was clean and well stocked.

Has a lot of cool stuff that's hard to find elsewhere, including gluten free options - also prices much higher than anywhere else. A nice option for specialty stuff, but for anything easy to find, you can likely get it for about half the price at the stop and shop across the street.

Prices a bit higher than stop n shop. Great deli dept. Part of Long Island history. Glen Cove store scheduled to close July 27 2022.

Neirosh went above and beyond to make the best birthday cake for our 7 year old. Whatever store he is at next is lucky to have him. We will find him there for the next one!

This was my first time at this location & i will NEVER return again. I wish i could rate it 0 stars. I was treated TERRIBLY by a very RUDE cashier named Angelo. As i approached his register, i stood for a second to see if he was slumped over His station texting on his phone, looked up at me briefly & then continued to text. So i simply just asked “hey, are you open?” He then slowly got up & said “i mean yeah, but i JUST sat down to relax. But whatever, let’s just get this over with” and rolled his eyes as he turned his conveyer belt on. To which i responded “you know what- Nevermind” & began walking off. as i walked off other customers began approaching his line and did NOT receive the same comments i did. I almost put my items down & left but i had already spent so much time shopping for them i just decided to go to another line. Needless to say, my first experience at this location was TERRIBLE and i will not be returning.

Everything went well till it was check out time. Girl spent more time talking to her friends and other customers then doing her job. All I had was 4 small items and I guarantee it took 5 times longer to check out than it should have.

The service was slower than molasses in wintertime. The deli counter operated at a snails pace. They only had two checkouts open during a rush time. Only good thing was the selection and inventory. Otherwise better plan on being there for awhile.

Family Owned and 1st Supermarket Chain on LI I like this store for a number of reasons. It is kept very clean. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. Generally has high quality fruits and vegetables. Deli carries a lot of Boars Head products. Overall, it presents a very nice environment to shop in.

Terrible Customer service ALWAYS, cashiers are very rude, I asked the cashier Elen why she was charging me twice the same product, she started arguing with me with an attitude. In other occasion, I was trying to get quarters at the costumer service desk, and the Lady who was there blond hair was questioning the purpose of why I was changing coins, she said that she was not going to change the bill for quarters, because I was going to do some suspicious business with them, and I only need those coins to do my laundry. EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF

I love this store for it's prices and cleanliness. It has a good lay out and nice staff. Kudos to the manager because I've seen him walking around plenty of times.
