We recognize that King Kullen is not always a good value to everyday grocery staples. What this retailer does have is a unique variety of products and prepared foods, not found anywhere else. As an on the go couple we choose KK because of their convenient neighborhood locations. The small cuts of meats for a spontaneous dinner for two. Lastly, I frequent KK for grab n go Boars Head sandwiches and fresh salad options. KK is a much better option than 711, Quickchek, or Fast Food when it comes to freshness, taste, and COST! They even make sandwiches to order at the deli!!
My car has been dented twice by run away shopping carts. I complained to the manager and he gave me the phone number to the Corporate office and after calling repeatedly with no response, I gave up. I left several messages and not once did anyone call back. The Manager did say they probably won't return my phone calls..how pathetic!!!
I went to this location yesterday and was thrown aback when I needed help finding charcoal and the store manager was slightly rude, he acted as if I was disturbing him, but Pointed and Told me where to find it, went back his merry way. No - "I'd be glad to help" "Would you like me to show you" or " Yes ma'am, I'd be happy to help". But I digress. So as I find flashlights for this impending "Hurricane" I find them. Not only were they covered in cob webs and dustyI do have pictures one of them were missing the batteries that came with it. Mind you, I was buying 4 flashlights 3 @ $13.99 1 @ $8.99. Went to customer service with ALL 4 and asked the young man if he could give me a discount for the one flashlight missing batteries. I had all of them up on the counter. He said he had to ask Manager. Again enter manager Steve Zagorski. I ask him the same question. His reply to me was " Why would I do that when I can send this back and get a full credit from the company" I've supervised in restaurants, retail store and even Customer Service reps. Even though what He said was correct - who tells a customer this. Every In Service training - Week 1 - that's the wrong answer. 100% hands down wrong. I answered "OK, np". Took the other 3 flashlights and my merchandise in cart put my granddaughter in cart, paid and left. As a people, we're surviving a Pandemic, Hurricane was about to hit and this is the Person representing King Kullen? It's absolutely disgusting.
Rude or Cold people working there. Not friendly except for the lady in front who is security I think.. Maybe the recruiter for this store needs to add a touch of diversity I'm sure asians / south asians wouldn't mind working here.
We went 7pm on a Wed nite, the place was empty. I was visiting so I can't say much. It was clean.
King Kullen's self check out is the laughing stock in the supermarket industries. The poor guy who mans the self check out should get a raise. THEY DON'T WORK FOR YEARS.
Sells expired food, and when I go to exchange it, not even asking for money back they are accusing me of waiting too long before bringing it back. What a terrible person that is the manager snarky remarks from customer service disgusting filthy people.
This location is racist. The managers get an attitude when black peoples need help and when I checked out Annmarie was not nice but was very helpful and friendly to the who’re people before and after me. She spoke not 1 word even when the payment total came. If you are black and come here you gone feel the nasty energy

King Kullen has a lot of products, but it is very expensive.
