This is a great place! Waitestaff are awesome, friendly & attentive. I get the buffet. In my opinion they have a good selection of salad bar, veggies, meats, & desserts. There hush puppies & cornbread are delicious. I enjoy watching the planes as they arrive & depart. They have 3 areas of dining; in the room with the buffet good for folks with mobility issues, a second dining area-good for group gatherings, and weather permitting, outside. It's clean & buffet is continually being restocked. Chairs are wide & comfortable. The restroom is also very clean.
Great southern food with the added bonus of watching the planes at the airport. The manager is fantastic and really did a great job making sure everyone was taken care of. Sunday brunch was busy but not chaotic. Looking forward to trying for dinner and seeing the runway and planes lit up.
We absolutely loved it. Everything and I mean everything was delicious. Such a friendly place with a wonderful atmosphere. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his family. He introduced himself and made my family and I feel so appreciated and welcome. We will go back again soon. Parking: Plenty of parking
This Restaurant is on the grounds of the Chesterfield Airport. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner. He went around to each each table & greeted guests, thanked them for coming and invited them back. He was an older gentleman, wasn't dressed in suit/tie, but that was ok...It was on an early Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed a lovely brunch with several meat choices, unlimited drinks, great salad bar, delicious desserts...congenital atmosphere, very friendly & attentive waitstaff. We dined like Royalty...The Restaurant was befitting of it's name, King's KornerAfterwards we sat leisurely in the lobby & watched the small planes come in & leave out. Very impressed...I could go on & on!

A great experience!! The work crew was friendly, helpful, and fun to talk to. We felt welcome there, and we talked to each other as if though we knew each other for years, I will most definitely be back!Food: 5/5
This an odd quirky place becaise of its location ... The Chesterfield County Airport Terminal ... It has been in operation for 10+ years as an off shoot of what was arguably the best BBQ mobile businesses in the Richmond area, before laws changed, King's Korner! They offer a daily lunch buffet heavy on BBQ and homemade sides, salad & deserts! Which is very good & heart warmingly honest... They have every kind of regional bbq sauce I have ever heard of on the tables! It is the few evenings a week that they open for a dinner buffet that is really a special time though ! ... They have had scheduled prime rib night, Oyster night, seafood & ribs night ... That might change by the time of year but always good at a fair price! Their dining room overlooks the active airfield & is decorated in aviation models a.nd plane parts of course. It is not a huge dining room and service is excellent ... It is very much a locals in the know kind of place, many are reluctant to share info. about because it is always busy but seldom crowded enough to have to wait for a table. They still do a lot of BBQ takeout & on-site catering & have a banquet room.
***** Update: The owner did refund our money. Thank you! This was my first time there. We waited about 10 mins to be told there was an empty table in the back we could go and sit back there. Then we wait 15 mins for someone to take out drink order. No one ever came. So we went to the buffet to get our food. Also had to go get our silverware. Came back to the table hoping to get drinks. No server ever came. After another 10 mins we got up and got our own drinks. The food was only ok. Never had a server. Will not be going back.
Nice family atmosphere with attentive staff. Has options for meat eaters as well as seafood options. Standard drink options plus freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice available. Dessert is also included in the buffet. Cozy spot to go with a child who loves planes. Kid-friendliness: Watch planes and helicopters land while you eat.
