So we're here in Annapolis on a Saturday. We knew the bus was delayed, but we waited for almost an hour for our bus after we called a couple of times and we were told to wait where we were. I called again and finally someone checked to see what was going on. Turns out the buses don't run past Fort Anne until past 3pm on Saturdays because of the traffic. Wish this was indicated on their Saturday schedule and also their Double Tracker App was down. Had we known we would have gone to the right stop, or we would have stayed longer at Fort Anne with our children to enjoy the activities instead of waiting at the bus stop for an hour! This is our only transportation and we have kids, so this was not cool. Very poorly communicated.
Why do they not have route info on google like the rest of the world? Its like they make the service as hard to route plan as possible. The schedule looks like it has been scanned and printed over and over till you cant read it.
I was waiting for the 1W on Highland Avenue, which is supposed to arrive shortly after 7:30. I was tracking my bus on DoubleMap and saw it out by the Walmart. I keep waiting and as it gets closer to 7:40, there's no sign of the bus. Checking DoubleMap again, it's out by the Transit Authority building. The driver DIDN'T do the full route, skipping over my street, causing me to pay for a 14 dollar cab ride to get to ny destination. I have plenty of experience with late transit, but a bus just cutting a residential street out of its route with no warning is a new one for me. This is in addition to a previous experience in the summer where the bus route I was expecting simply didn't exist that day. I don't know what way this is to run a transit company, where the existence of the routes and where they go is completely optional. Awful experiences, if you have any other way of getting around the valley, do so. People in Halifax that complain about their bus system don't know just how bad it can get.
I find that the drivers & office when I call or very polite, understanding & go out of there way to help you out!! Thank you
After hours answering service is more like a "let me place you on hold and forget you exist" service. Don't ask " can I place you on hold" if you don't plan on waiting for me to say yes or no and are not going to answer after 15 mins . I did this 3 times until I was able to yell fast enough for him not to put me on hold . All I wanted to know was if the busses were running. It would have taken as much time to say either yes or no as it did to place me on hold the first time I tried to get someone to answer that simple question. But instead I tried calling over 10 times hearing the same man say "can I place you on hold" and then placing me on hold before giving me the chance to answer. Seriously. Find a better service that believes in customer service or at least has the same or better work ethic as a welfare professional.
A lot of the times the track my app won't load or isn't working but other then that I havnt really had any problems
I got excellent service. Friendly and informative.
Early morning wolfville to Greenwood never has tracker on in the mornings
I'm not even sure how they call this a bus service. Any sign of snow and they don't run this is unheard of in any other province. They stop doing runs before bars close so encourage people to drink and drive
Great service but need to be extended.
