Beautiful, albeit constantly under construction, park. I’ve been using this park, specifically the dog park, for a few weeks after relocating up this way. After jumping through the small-town hoops to get my dog locally licensed a requirement to the dog park, it’s been a nice change of pace for my pup. Not usually too busy, peak hours have a few other dogs to play with. Working hose and plenty of dog bowls. Mostly a dirt park on a slight slope but plenty of room to run.
Outstanding park directly on the Hudson! Beautiful views. Areas too barbecue , picnic, play with kids cute playground within the park and a dogrun all in one. Even a beautiful Gazebo!!
Amazing park on the Hudson river. The views are just stunning. The trees all around are so beautiful. Good size park with plenty of tables and BBQ. There was plenty of parking and public bathroom. I liked how there was benches along the river to sit and enjoy all the views.
Had a great Afternoon walking here. I did not have to pay since construction going on they removed the fee now
Beautiful park with sheltered picnic spaces. It's an easy walk down to the waters edge. Lots of places to bbq and picnic. There is ample parking including accessible parking spots. There is also a playground for younger ones. Facilities are clean and tidy. Beautiful park overlooking the water depending on where you set up. Lots of shaded spots as well, which is vital during the summer heat. It is also easily accessible by Metro North Trains.
A nice little park away from all the crowds. We went to go have a little BBQ on a Saturday and it was fairly easy to find a grill. We had a beautiful view of the bridge and we’re right on the water. There was a trash can easily available and plenty of parking for the size of the park.
Beautiful view of mountain and bridge. Usually the sunset is gorgeous.
A nice safe-feeling little park, $10 to park or $5 to park if you're a county resident with a park pass. 18 Acres, picnic areas, fishing and playgrounds. Hours are seven days a week, 8 a.m. to dusk, year-round.
What a wonderful place to throw a BBQ. Pits and benches available but be sure to get there early. It is $10 to park cash only! Scenic view is aesthetically pleasing! There is a small playground for kids, nothing crazy but close enough to watch the children play and BBQ at the same time. Restrooms and portapotties available.
My family has been doing family reunions here for a few years now. This place is so peaceful yet full of life with all the celebrations around and people enjoying the park. The park workers are always going around collecting the trash at the sites so there is no overflowing trash anywhere.
