Took my two granddaughters there youngest one sixth birthday beautiful Park beautiful fireworks see for yourself
There's many soccer fields, walking paths and plenty of free parking. There's also two small playgrounds.
Attended the Strawberry Fest parade and Festival on Saturday. Wonderful experience. Lovely park.
Great place to bring the kiddos, have a picnic, and go on a walk or a bike ride!
Strawberry Fest had many things to do, except it was missing the strawberry hut this year
I only saw it at night for the fireworks but it seemed nice.
Soccer fields are in decent shape. Playground is in good condition. Parking can get a bit dicey - the lot as multiple one-ways that aren’t super clearly marked. Oftentimes you’ll get people driving the wrong direction. Never ran into any issues finding a spot to park.
We had soccer games at 3pm, 5pm and 7pm. The playground was too far away for the children to enjoy and the concessions ran out of food and beverages. Too bad they couldn't accommodate so many people for a tournament. Playground: Too far away for children to enjoy. Restrooms: Very poor bathroom conditions for so many soccer fields. One outhouse was "out of order", one was locked with nobody inside and a third one was literally filled up to the toilet seat. There was a flushing toilet in a building but it had only two stalls in the women's. In the men's bathroom there was no soap. Later there was soap but no towels. Picnic area: We didn't see a picnic area.
A peaceful and quiet park to go for a walk on the trails. Perfect for families.
Awesome park for young ones and I personally love to play on their basketball courts. Plus there are soccer fields and tennis courts there if you are interested. The pavilion is very nice and rarely has any sorts of bees and or wasps. Would recommend 5 outa 5 stars in my opinion.
