The explorers are kids from the ages of 14 to 21 years old, work doing community service, train just like the Police Department
This organization shall be known as the Kingston Police Explorer Post #376, sponsored by the Kingston Police Department in cooperation with the Boy Scouts of America’s Learning for Life Program. This organization is a community oriented non-profit organization. All funds received by this organization are used for the education of its members and to provide equipment that the post needs to function. This program operates under the direction of police officers and civilian Advisors.
The primary mission of this program is to expose young adults between the ages of 14 and 20 to the field of law enforcement. This program will do the following: give insight into police work, provide a positive alternative to negative influences, develop responsible youth, encourage academic excellence, leadership, teamwork, and volunteerism. Participants will work with both civilians and officers of the Kingston Police Department.
