Kinna Sohna is a one-woman business venture launched in 2000 by clothing designer and textile artist Sartaj Kaur. Kinna Sohna means “how beautiful” in Punjabi. The focus of the business is to create a market for high quality handcrafted items produced by crafts people and women’s co-operatives in India and neighbouring countries. To ensure that craftspeople get full value for their creations, Kinna Sohna’s business mandate is to trade ethically and directly with artisans.
