A hidden gem in Port Chester. Highly recommended for a casual meal....Food: 5/5
They don’t clean there ice machine it came with dust, food was cold. They took 50 minutes with our food. And the last plate was raw nuggets and fries. The chicken nuggets were not cooked it was still raw from the inside. And they add there own tips. My favorite restaurants are always in New York and this is probably the worst. Very bad service. Drove 2 hours. Not authentic at all.
Food quality has gone down, this place used to be really good now it’s alright. Posole tasted exactly like what comes in a Goya can. The Barbacoa was a bit chewy and lacked the tenderness that I was looking for. The fajitas has very little seasoning, and were lackluster. The cemita de carne enchilada however was good, the bread was nice and toasted but lacked tomato and lettuce which is to be expected. Service was good, the problem seems to be the food quality, another thing is the portions have gotten smaller. And on a final note the bathrooms were filthy and looked like they don’t even get cleaned makes me wonder if everything else is getting cleaned in the restaurant.
Food was good especially the nachos. Despite having one waitress for a packed restaurant, she was very attentive and did her best to attend to us. The only thing I wished was different was how loud the music was.
If you want REAL Mexican food- this is the place.
3 days ago I went with my whole family to eat at this place, the food is great but the young waitress is extremely disrespectful. She had no idea how to explain the dishes and what they are consisted of other than the fact that she was bothered of our questions and request!!! On top of that my husband went to pick up a take out friday and the same waitress had the audicity to say from a far “You should at least leave $10 of a tip” ....I’m sorry for picking up my own food ??? They need more educated waitresses and they would be doing better than they are!!!
It used to be good. I went at 10 pm no chips were given, I usually get a churrasco kiosko which is a big portion plate, this time it was so little, still same price also the rice was very dry and it was the last from the pot, it was hard to chew. When I told the lady that today it was not good, she said at that time they don't fry chips anymore, service should be the same, it used to be my favorite place for churrasco but i dont want to come back, because last 2 times quality of service went down.
Food is authentic but not over the top, it is worth every penny, fresh and full of flavor. Also, the portions are gynourmous! I don't know they got that picture, it is not the front of the restaurant, although it could us some work.
We went for a take out order. The staff was attentive, the place was clean, and the restaurant was well decorated. The food was great and well packaged. 10/10 Would recommend again!
This place USED to be valid. I do not know what happened. The food does not taste as great. The food is bland and cold. You are over paying for the food quality. Bring back the old cook.
