Kirt's Family Drive Inn

I’ve dropped my star rating for this restaurant because my recent visit left a bad taste in my mouth. Pun intended. The food by far was not what it has been in the past. When we first arrived we were able to sit and was promptly visited by the waitress on duty. But from there it went south. After having her come back and give us a few minutes to figure out what we wanted when she came back it was hard for her to hear us giving our orders because the kitchen staff was being so loud it was literally hurting my ears. Then once she took the order I eventually had to go to the desk to find out what was going on with my order because it had been almost 45 minutes by that point. Finally 55 minutes after we ordered our food with a 10yr old mind you we finally received our orders. We all ordered two footlong coneys and a check sandwich and a side of chili cheese fries. My chili cheese fries came last and was the hottest thing on the table. I didn’t see a single person inside that restaurant that looked old enough to legally buy a beer much less cigarettes. The owners really should clean house because out of the 7-8 people working in that kitchen and it took an hour to get some chili dogs. Really! Not happy and it’s debatable if I will return again. It’ll be a while for sure.

Previous owner never let customers wait 20 minutes. We believed in supporting this local establishment as we felt service was awesome under previous owners. The current ownership has taken a big step back wards. Our last dining experience at Kurt’s was poor to say the least. We arrived and waited 20 minutes while they served three other parties who arrived after us. Having worked in food service in high school and still in a customer oriented business feel confident saying your service model lacks a fundamental understanding of good service. Fortunately, there are other local burger restaurants who provide excellent service. Don’t waste your time here!

Our first time coming here and it did not disappoint. The onion rings were so delicious. I highly recommend eating here.Food: 5/5

Ordered a Peach Brownie shake. No brownie. And a bacon cheese burger. No cheese or bacon. There was also a truck playing music loud enough for everyone to hear at the restaurant. No effort to tell them to turn it down. Very disappointing. By the time I discovered the problem with the order. I was home and the drive inn was closed.Food: 1/5

Kirt’s needs to get it together! Why so much of the back and forth. They come to your car to take your order, they come back to your car with your food and take payment and then come back to return your card. Get with the times and get wireless card readers. What is taking so long to get updated with the times? We are not in the 1970s. You guys are ridiculous. Your food takes way too long to come out to begin with.

I don't even know where to start.... waiting over an hourPlace was not busy... Burger was exactly opposite of what I ordered .... burnt burger and still spongy?.....Worst burger I have ever had... The Grape lime Ricky tasted like Club soda.... The waitress expected a 8 dollar tip off of 12$ worth of food.... waited over 25 minutes for my change... Never received my change or someone to correct the order ....First time going here and I was supper excited but this was honestly my second worst food service of my life. I will say the fries were good. That's all I ate were 20$ fries. I hardly leave good or bad reviews. But I felt like I had to leave this review..

Food was delicious. I do like the layout of the facility, depending on the spot it's a little hard to get into but it's not too big of an issue. The staff were friendly and quick to take our order ! We did wait for a little bit which is fine, it was worth the wait.Food: 5/5

Came here for some shakes and nostalgia, and we weren't disappointed! The service was great and quick. The shakes were really good, but they only gave us one small napkin when we had multiple shakes. Thankfully I have a stash in my car. The only other thing was there weren't any accessible trashcans. I couldn't find one outside or in their inside dining room.

Ordered our food.shrimp basket and a fish basket. One other table being used. Took 10 minutes to get drinks. And a hour for our food. It was cold. We had two couples at the other table. they were burping and laughing. Finally paid and left. Food wasnt good service wasnt good and atmosphere terrible. Funny was a gentlemen had to come in three times in the hour that we were there to check on his order. Was there before we were and left when we did. But if your looking for a place to watch disrespectable people. Go there, order and wait. Bring your lunch
