Kitsap Mosaics was created in 2012 by Anna Hickner in Historic Downtown Poulsbo, WA - a community founded on Norwegian Heritage and a popular haven for the arts.
As a nurse specializing in critical care, Anna found comfort in the art form of mosaics as a way to relieve stress. "It's a way to turn what's broken into something beautiful - to forget about the outside world and just create."
