What can you say about a grassy campground whose only fee is a donation? It means it's a great deal. It is located close to the highway, so it is a little noisy but thru traffic decreases to close to zero during the middle of the night. It has a clean restroom equipped with soap and TP. And for tenters like myself, camping on green grass is a definite plus. Not to mention Lewistown is a nice town. So I give Kiwanis Park a big thumbs up. And don't be a cheapskate - make sure that you leave a donation in the box near the restroom. Good things aren't free, so support this "good thing".
Nice clean quiet place to rest. Can camp up to 10 days with a donation fee. Picnic tables. Clean bathrooms. No showers. Pet friendly. Easy to find. Near grocery store.
Free, clean, and very well maintained campground you can donate $ for maintenance. It has water to fill tank, across the street from a Co-op grocery store. Near airport but we saw 2 planes taking off in 2 days. It is by the highway but not an issue. Paved road and restrooms. For one night, it is the perfect stop.
What a GEM! We found this at 2am while looking for a place to sleep for the night. Pleasantly surprised to find an actual campground! Restrooms: Clean and well kept.

How refreshing! A free place to just pitch our tent and crash for the night! The bathroom was spotless, the picnic table was clean. The grass was green and lush So very perfect for a quick travel through site while traveling through. We were the only tent, and while you are parked right next to the road- we were so tired we didn't hear anything after falling asleep Really beats the cost of $140.00 cheap local hotel!! Thank you Kiwanis!!

Very nice, clean little place. All it lacks is showers.
Perfect place to throw a tent down when travelling. Couldnt ask for more. Covered picnic tables, well kept soft grass, clean bathrooms and its right on a major travel highway. I arrived about 2 am mid may, no issues. The property is right on the road so you can hear a lot of traffic. I kinda like that, slept like a baby!
