Great food flavor of meat was great bbq sauce was good but portions were small but great service

Chopped beef was delicious and tender. The sauce was excellent . The potato salad was too creamy but had a good flavor. They just went a little heavy with the mustard & mayo. The pinto beans had zero flavor. Like seasoning free beans.

First time going. Definitely won't be the last. The brisket was pretty stellar but the ribs were the real star of the show for me. Fall-off-the-bone, buttery tender and deliciously seasoned. Almost didn't want to put their super smoky, subtely sweet sauce on them but the combination took the experience to the next level. Even the sides were VIP level. Best baked beans I've ever eaten. Looking forward to the very difficult challenge of trying to find a place that does BBQ better. You've GOT to try Klemke's.

The food at Klemke's is very good, fresh sliced brisket and their jalapeno sausage is wonderful! They give you very good portions for the money, and it'll definitely satisfy you if you want some good Texas home cooking and BBQ. The restaurant itself though leaves a lot to be desired. It's a little hole-in-the-wall place that's hot, run-down, and tired looking.

The guy was very nice, the lady....not so much. Being from Texas I am peculiar about my bbq, but I love it when it's done right. They do have the hole in the wall awesome look you want from a bbq place. Sadly this place should not be able to call themselves a bbq establishment. I had the 3 meat dinner with ribs, brisket, and smoked turkey. Sadly the instant mashed potatos were the best thing on my plate. I was super disappointed. The mac and cheese had a layer of grease on top. The potato salad and beans straight from the carton and can. The cobbler was cold. Now to the meats..... the ribs chewy kind of like a dog chew, no smoked savor whatsoever and dry. The smoked turkey had smoked flavor, but was dry. The brisket was also lack luster and dry. The sausage was mushy:/ nothing was served warm it was room temp at best. I have to say sadly this spot is officially the worst bbq I have ever had. The sweet tea was good!

Customer service was fantastic! Couldn't ask for a better service from both owner and employee. How ever the food took an unexpected turn when my sandwich came to the table cold. I can understand waiting for your food but to wait for it and it come cold I can't understand.

Bathroom is filthy. The girl working today could care less that I even came in. Ignored me while chatting on her cell phone. Emotionless. I got a sliced beef sandwich to go. When I arrived at park to eat my sandwich, I found no napkins. The sliced beef sandwich I got was more like a sliced fat sandwich. It was so gross! I am not a picky eater... But, a fat sandwich? No thanks! I will never be back.

If you are looking for nasty bar b que..?? This is the place. Inside is nasty, employees are lazy, and clueless. Not to mention the food wich is served pretty much cold, mabey a little microwaved, insanely expensive for what you get. I strongly advise do not eat here,,,,,,as for me and my family we will never eat here agian.

Saturday Oct.5, 2019. The driest Sliced brisket I have ever tried to chew. Ribs were way way to salty and dry. Should have returned for a refund but I chose not to ever return.

I want to go to this olace to celebrate my 64th Birthday. I am saddened about Klemkes Butcher shop. Mr Klemke is a true icon in this day and age. I cried so hard when this business burnt. God bless Mr. Klemke and his family. Mrs.Ruby Janku-Downing Newsom
