Knickerbocker breads are by far the best tasting, best quality breads our family has ever eaten. We have been eating Knickerbocker breads for years. One of our favorites is the Michigan Cherry Walnut. They never scrimp on the cherries or the walnuts. We use it for all different kinds of meals. Chicken salad sandwiches, grilled cheese, peanut butter, and jelly sandwiches, we use it for French toast and you’ve got to try it for cream cheese stuffed French toast and just plan toasted. You’ll find it’s hard to pick a favorite because they are all great!
Awesome buns, breads and rolls. Quality ingredients makes quality bread you can trust. As an employee here for nearly 16 years, I have had the awesome experience baking bread on the night shift. I am not the owner just a baker who loves baking the most delicious baked goods in southeastern Michigan. The new owner is incredibly savvy who owns other successful businesses. The new owner was under the tutelage of the former owners whom I had the privilege of being personally trained by them both. I have confidence in the new owners, as they display great leadership skills, work ethics, and the concern they have the employees that work their and maintaining the same great quality bread Knickerbocker customers have enjoyed over the years. I plan on continuing baking delicious quality breads here until I retire.
I don't requirement no body to work on this company or buy because they're rude especially Sandra and the bread is so nasty because couple of friends they used to work there and they told me don't buy the bread from this company. The reason I'm saying that because the people that works there they get out from the bathroom without washing their hands. Sandra's husband he's like a chicken when ever people ask him for something he don't know what to do he tell people let me ask my wife, I don't know why they keep him in front when he doesn't know anything. Patricia, she was a good owner everyone like her attitude but she sold the company to Sandra and her husband Firas. Sandra and her husband are the worst people I have ever seen and there is more things to say but I think this is enough to waste my hands writing for these people!!!
On a whim, l bought a loaf of their Strawberry bread at the Eureka Farm Market in Southgate. Unbelievably delicious!!! Soft, moist and very flavorful. I especially loved it with cream cheese! Great for breakfast or an afternoon treat.
My husband and I love the French bread- it’s very close to an authentic, olde world French bread recipe without all of the unnecessary ingredients found in most of the commercial “French” breads on grocery store shelves. We also love the Michigan Cherry Walnut bread and the Multi-grain. Great products!
Delicious bread and friendliest staff. Would highly recommend working here or buying their product.
The Polly Market in Whitmore Lake MI sells many varieties of their bread. Always fresh and soft, we love the whole wheat. For sandwiches, toasted, or just with butter as a side, always tasty and good.
First, I am new to the area and found the Cherry Walnut Bread--DELICIOUS! Bought loaf at Kroger in Troy. Thought it would be a great idea to put this bread in several baskets I was preparing for friends and family for Christmas. Problem is you CANNOT find this bread. I contacted the company via website under contact us--no response at all. Website stated the breads could be found at Holiday Market. I called Holiday Market Royal Oak not knowing there was another Holiday and they never heard of it. Called the bakery itself and they said they don't do Holiday Market Royal Oak, and if I wanted to pick up bread from the bakery itself, pick ups are only on Thursday & Friday from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm and that you had to order on Monday for Thursday or Friday pick up. Today is Thursday -- oh well. I give up. As good as the bread is, the customer service isn't so hot. It should state on the website which Holiday Market carries their breads. Kroger cannot keep enough on hand. Great product, bad customer service.
I absolutely love the marble rye bread. All the bread is wonderful and very tasty. Best bread I can buy in the metro Detroit area.
I Love the Cherry Walnut & Sour dough & Strawberry Cream & Blueberry bread . All the bread is soo so Tasty !!
