The KPD's Facebook page has been created to promote a positive way to communicate on-line with the citizens, employees and visitors of Knoxville.
The Knoxville Police Department has 14 certified Police Officers and 3 civilian staff members who serve the 7,300 plus citizens and visitors of Knoxville.

The Knoxville Police Department is committed to providing prompt, efficient and total quality service to the citizens, employees and visitors of Knoxville. We strive to respond to requests for services in a courteous, professional and timely manner with awareness towards health, safety and the welfare of all persons. We shall prevent and deter crime, respect and protect the Constitutional rights of individuals and enforce in a fair and impartial manner the ordinances of the City of Knoxville and the laws of the State of Iowa.

The Knoxville Police Department is dedicated towards continuously improving our services and equipment to better serve our community. We will seek innovation and continuous improvement in processed and staff development. All persons requesting our services will be treated with respect, dignity and compassion in their time of need.
