This is an impressive camp ground -- it's well staffed and we'll maintained. The office & store folks are friendly and organized. Check-in was easy and welcoming from the "greeter" outside to the receptionist at the counter. Restroom & laundry building is a unique design lending to efficiency. This large park accommodates a lot of campers and the staff does a good job keeping everything clean and squared away. This is very much a family oriented park with lots of fun things for the kids to do from the multitude of play equipment to the very nice swimming pool. I specifically commend the camp ground owners for the prominent display of our national flag and all of the service flags Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard and Space Force.
A very family friendly KOA. If you like happy kids this is the place. If you want peace and quiet, you might try some old RV park for elderly. As with most RV parks, the spots are about as close together as possible. WiFi was pretty good, but it did drop occasionally. Other utilities were as expected. This summer has been hot and dry so the roads in the campground were very dusty. Could use some more gravel. Overall a good stay for us.
Great place to spend some down time from working. We took a 3 day with the dogs. Our cabin was clean and very accommodating. We used the dog park , swimming pool and hot tub. No complaints!!!! We drove through the whole campground . It was clean and very well kept. We can't wait to visit again!
Always clean facilities and always friendly staff. Super helpful. They also have some very nice spots both for RV’s and tents. I camped here in a tent one time this early fall and the campsite was very nice, but had to bail due to being too cold and wet for me to be camping in a tent. The lady was very nice and understanding and refunded the campsite in full. My second most recent visit I traded the tent in for my class B camper van RV. Nice RV space and I like the light that comes on at the electrical hookup station so you can see what your doing. This is a great place to go if your someone who does tent camping or RV stays. I stay in my class B RV come winter/fall and camp in a tent in the summer so knowing there’s a place open year round that takes both is great. They are always cleaning the facilities and the maintenance is top notch so they have very nice showers with good water pressure. When traveling up to Astoria this will be my go to place to stay over a hotel.
We love to camp on the Oregon coast in the winter. This KOA has everything. The people who work here take a lot of pride in this property. They are all very helpful and kind. Especially Kim and Emily at the office/camp store. Our power box died and with in 20 minutes of calling the office, George and Trinity in Maintenance came down with a power extension so we could plug into another box. Amazing service!! The indoor pool and spa is wonderful for winter use. The laundry/showers are open 24 hours with door code. An all around beautiful, peaceful and responsive property. We are looking forward to our stay already next winter. The gift shop and store has everything you could need to make your camp life easier and bright. The Manager Jamee is kind and has a fantastic team!! We love you KOA Warrenton!!
Great KOA resort campground. Camping sights in the 100 section are nicely shaded and paved. The sights need a little work on leveling. We were there in October for Halloween weekend, lots of activities for the kids.
I go with my Son Austin and his little family at least once a year on either My oldest son Robbie's birthday or unfortunately his death day as Astoria/Warrenton/Seaside/Gearhart was some of his favorite places in the whole world. ROBBIE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT THERE And so do we. We do so enjoy camping her to celebrate his life and create more happy memories while remembering how much we love him eternally. THE KOA IS A SPECIAL WONDERFUL FAMILY CAMPING PLACE PERFECT FOR ANY FAMILY TRIP. We love the outdoor firepit, the mini golf, the RC Car Track as my son has a car, The bathrooms and showers and laundry room are always warm and clean and very well kept. The gift shop/camp store is also a favorite of ours. There are many great activities to enjoy both on site and in the surrounding areas.
Wonderful kampground. Pool and hot tub was excellent! The staff was safety oriented. The ice on the kabin ramp was removed quickly. Resident elk roamed the kampground and allowed me to get pictures. This is in my "stay again" list. Dog-friendliness: I had a kabin that was dog friendly for a small charge.
We have come here the last two years for Halloween. Yes it's pretty expensive, but Koa puts on a really fun Halloween weekend 3 weekends in a row. Tye dye, pumpkins, cow train, build a bear, kid's play area, mini golf, heated pool, hot tub, haunted house and trick or treating. Seriously so much to do. I wish the pool was a little warmer, but besides that we seriously love this place
We had a beautiful deluxe cabin with a bathroom with Hair dryer, and, a kitchenette with a microwave and coffee maker, as well as two cozy rooms. We were there during a very rare ice storm, and the staff was quick to come out and fix the frozen pipes with no grumbling! There was also a TV! I never understood why folks would go Glamping, now I want more! Bonus? Great indoor mpool, too!
