Very nice find in this area. The campground has all the amenities you need and soma added fun. The putt putt and pool were very nice and the bounce pad a huge hit with my kiddo! There’s also playground equipment. The campground is conveniently located next to plenty of shopping and food. All employees were very kind and helpful! The ONLY sad thing was that the pool closed at 8 and it’s still super hot and light in August…wish it could stay open longer. The sites are very clean and well taken care of. I was thankful for the laundry room but it was super warm without ac or a fan…go late or early!
In 7 months of staying at this facility, there were 3 different owners, managers and staff personnel. There were changes in rules and regulations that you might know about until it was convenient for them to inform you that "we don't do that here anymore ". We are long termers due to traveling with work and first chose this place due to fair pricing and dry storage for my bike trailer. Second set of owners/managers came in, still had dry storage and they said " your grandfathered in, your rent stays the same". This last set of owner/managers came in, you had 20 days to remove your dry storage items and rent increased $200 a month. We asked, is there another place we can park our trailer? No, we don't have anything, sorry. The day we moved to another campground, there set 3 vehicles that had been in the same spots for weeks, one under a car cover, parked in the grass away from campsites but couldn't park a newer/clean enclosed bike trailer. Our original rent was $550 per month, plus electric. We stayed 6 days longer than the month to month rent, it cost me $539. When asked why, "you are now on a daily basis and its a different rate". 7 months of never late rent and they couldn't have prorated 6 days. Its ALL ABOUT THE MONEY FOLKS!!! I hope everyone that stays there has a great time and enjoys it...We did, months ago.
We were suppose to stay there for a months and only ended up staying a week. However, they were excellent about it. We were bummed. They have fantastic events each weekend for families. The campground is clean and the staff are welcoming. I would highly recommend someone staying here. We hope to be able to come back again.
This is a great campground! the owners are very nice and helpful. I had an AC issues and they when out of the way to help. The pool was very well maintained and great to cool off it on such a hot weekend. Only thing missing is a way to get ice for cooler.....We definitely be back!!Rooms: 5/5
We just stayed at Spacious Skies over Halloween Weekend. Best time ever!!! The staff are amazing, so friendly, approachable, hard working to keep the campground clean, and very accommodating. They had many activities available for the entire family. We loved every minute and can't wait till we go back at Memorial Day.. Thank you all so very much for being such a family friendly campground where everyone has a safe environment and activites for everyone.!!
We decided last min to go camping for the weekend. They had a tent spot with electric. The staff was friendly. There were activities planned but my 11 year old son really liked the bounce pillow and Gaga ball pit. He met up with other children and enjoyed. The tent sites are nice. I feel like there isn’t a lot of privacy. But still was able to relax. We road bikes and did some fishing. We will return.
The managers are extremely friendly and welcoming! My 5 year old REALLY enjoyed the new amenities: jump pillow and gem mining! We can't wait to go back! This is such a great place to visit!
This campsite will not honor the quote that one gets on Campspot. The campsite that we were asking for was quoted in Campspot for $72.05 1 night - Saturday to Sunday. There was space available. When my husband called the campground directly, they told him the price was $112.19 which included his military discount and refused to honor the quote from Campspot. When I tried to cancel our reservation which was done less than 5 minutes ago, the campground informed that we will lose all of the paid reservation since the stay is in less than 72 hrs. In order not to lose our hard earned money, we will stay here for the reserved night, but never again.
Cute place, close to the highway but still very quiet. We stayed in a cabin, well appointed and when there was an issue with the cabin they gave us too small was fixed without any fuss. Very nice and personable people working check in/store. Very clean and generally well maintained. The recreation room needed help, everything was busted up to the point it wasn't usable. Our cabin said it had a grill and did not. Very hard to plan for when you're expecting to cook for a family. The water in the cabin smelled horrid and wasn't usable for drinking. Otherwise, the pool and the rest of the grounds were well taken care of and met our expectations
An immaculate campground very clean and well cared for. The restrooms and showers were always clean. Someone always checking to make sure all is in order around nd all of the sites. Special thanks to Bob for helping me with numerous challenges I had with my travel trailer. He was so very helpful and gave me some great tips for setting up and then hooking up my trailer for departure. Thank you, Bob!!
