We are amazed by this campground. We have been here for a little over a week and the events, hospitality and level of quality of this KOA make it incomparable to others we’ve stayed at. We are extended stay guests and would highly recommend booking a reservation. The owners are welcoming, friendly and have gone above and beyond what we’ve expected. Also, the beauty of this part of Tennessee is definitely worth seeing for yourself. We are beyond happy that our children have a great playground, access to one of the states best schools and unlimited outdoor activities! Also, our neighbors are two cute and friendly donkeys
We had an awesome time here this weekend, the store was nice and well stocked, the staff was all super friendly. It seems to be under excellent management with camp hosts Jim and Lisa. They have some adorable little donkeys. The bathrooms are really nice and clean it's located right off 81, easy to find
We love this place. The camp is run by Jim and Lisa. These two are an asset to this place. So friendly and helpful. The camp was spaced out nicely. The camping spots were great. Very clean park. Oh and we loved the donkeys! Until next time! Jim your the best!
Site is not level, our jacks say 'excessive incline' Called the office and they REFUSE to move us to one of the many open sites, could have cared less AND we are freaking repeat customers! Not anymore. Nothing is available to park nearby so we have to pay $65 to sit here with our slides in because obviously we can't put our jacks down and NO refund, even partial or we're sorry....Nothing. Don't come here
Wonderful park. Some shady spots. Excellent play area for kids and adults! Clean, individual shower/bathrooms. Laundry room, book exchange, rec room. Very kind, friendly staff. This park has it all.
Long term stay beware!!!! There is a hundred dollar deposit for electric when you leave early not only as a monthly you will receive no refund at all your final electric bill will come out of deposit, we left 12 days early and only got back 35 bucks put us in a spot that when it rains it washes out all the gravel strait down on our spot and covered our rug and washed out our stableizer blocks , said they do not know how to fix it stay at the shadrack!!!! The monthly was 650.00 till this inflation now they have raised the prices to 1200.00 informed me it’s a supply and demand issue , strait from the owner’s mouth and she is not Friendly!
Called for 1 night reservation, sure, $78! Red flag! Pulled into our site #23, very not level. Red flag! We auto leveled but noticed our passager front tire was 6 in off the ground. Then noticed passenger rear tire was also off the ground. After 9 years and hundreds of parks, we have never had a site this unlevel. See pics. Our rv was so twisted, could not close entrance door. Advertised superfast wifi...could not connect no iP address. What a mess...skip this park, way below acceptable.
We had a 5-star time with two of the best hosts ever in Lisa and Jim Allen. It was so peaceful, but their hospitality was second to none. The facility is so well kept too! We're already scheduled to return! Thank you Lisa & Jim!
The Sweetest Staff!! They made our family feel so welcomed. The campsite was good size, our children enjoyed the amenities and the gem mining. The bathhouse was well maintained. We would stay here again.
Great stay for 8 days. The grounds and facilities were well kept and the staff was always available and helpful. From helping make the reservation over the phone to check out, their staff was friendly and professional. The site i was in fit the needs of my setup and i had no issues with water, electric, or tv. The internet was a little flaky during peak times and had a weak signal but mostly served my purposes. When looking at my picture, i have a trailer i haul my motorcycle in and sleep in. I had room for my Jeep, Trailer and motorcycle. I was the riff raff of the park as most people had RVs or trailers, some overnight, some for longer. They have great kids facilities and the pool was a nice refresher after riding my motorcycle out to ride The Snake Rt 421. If the need arises in that area again, i would definitely return, like many of the others i spoke to, do.
