This was an awesome campground we stayed at a waterfront deluxe cabin . Had a great free Pancake breakfast with the best coffee ever. The manager and her assistant very personable. I thanked her for turning off the rain. Large big sites throughout the park. Cute store and friendly desk clerks.Rooms: 5/5
Beautiful KOA nestled in the woods. Very peaceful for our 1 night stay. Site #149. Paved roads around campground but as another camper noted, very tight so need to go extremely slow. 45’ towing. Had to disconnect to to get our coach level in our pull thru site. Tree branches hindered getting close to the Full hook ups. Once settled in, we enjoyed a fire and the ambiance of the park. This site is close to the pools and playground. Easy out as we were very close to the exit.
Easy check in, our site was a nice pull through with full hook ups. It also had cable. Roads around campground all paved but narrow so it keeps you going slow. Playground is nice they have mini golf, a bounce pillow also. A small pond to go fishing catch and release only but fun for little ones. All in all a nice place to stay. Did not use restrooms or showers while here but peeked in and they looked clean. We will stay here again!!
This is a beautiful camping ground and cabin experience let down by the absolutely ATROCIOUS bathroom situation. There are two bathroom facilities for the entire campground. The one that was within walking distance only had ONE working stall in the men's room. How is this even legal? The showers were dirty and look like they haven't been refreshed in years. Everything else was great. Pool was fun. Camp fires great. But KOA, you've got to fix the bathrooms. Walkability: The only bathroom facilities are a long long walk.
My wife and I have stayed at a number of campgrounds. This is our fifth KOA. It is the busiest one we have been to. The grounds are mature. Lots of shade. Campsites are not right on top of each other. This is great, because I don't like another camper at the edge of my awning. Check in was a breeze , Very nice little store. The grounds were clean. Very nice pool area. And for us everything seemed to be quiet after 9:30. But we were not there on a Saturday night either. If we are in the area we will stay here again
Not what I expected. Customer service at check in was friendly and easy enough. From there it goes down hill. Cabin was dirty, floor was maybe swept? Dirt on beds. Previous food scraps and dirt in all the corners, I wouldn't walk on the floor without shoes, feet will turn black. Loud campground, lots of partying, loud bass and music, weed smoke everywhere, adults drinking heavily in abundance. It's a party campground; if that's your thing you will love it here.
Outstanding camping vacation for our family with three toddlers. The cabin was perfect and the kids LOVED the pool, jumping pillow and mini golf. Great first camping experience for our young family. The team working really made us feel so welcome and at ease. Thank YOU.Rooms: 5/5
We have stayed here 3 times and each time there has been so much noise. Not a typical camping experience. It seems to be the place where people come to party. First time there was a sound system with music and bright lights at the campsites behind us. Someone had to finally tell them to turn it off when it became “quiet time”. This last time there was some church revival next to us, again with a sound system and microphone. We can’t deal with this place any more. Wish there were better options in the area with full hookups.
Booked a tent site for 2 nights, behind/close to the store and office. The site was decently sized, clean, with some bushes and small trees separating from the sites next to it. The store is also nicely stocked. However, the quiet time? not enforced at all. The loud talking, even yelling, loud music, even honking…??? went well into 2am. No one here had any proper etiquette. The oddest experience I’ve ever had camping, how people were blatantly loud, with no regard for others. Mind you these sites are pretty small and close together. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you.
We have been coming here for decades and always have a good time! Everything was good, however this year there must be new management as the snack bar has been closed permanently it seems, and the atmosphere was just good… not great as in the past. Fire truck ride was just 1 night, pancake breakfast only on the weekend, seems like a few things have been cut back. Still had a nice time though!
