In 1980 Harold Liefer and his wife Catherine bought her family's funeral business and Koch-Liefer Funeral Home was formed. In 1997, Mr. Liefer purchased Dasher Funeral Home and Service.
Currently under the new ownership of Bruce and Greg Leesman, the high level of service and compassion Mr. Liefer served the community with, can be expected to continue. Bruce and Greg are both graduates of Worsham College of Mortuary Science and have a combined 35 years in the funeral business. Bruce and Greg also own Leesman Funeral Homes in both Dupo and Millstadt.
Bruce and Greg are excited to get to know the Red Bud community and continue the level of service and compassion Red Bud has been accustomed to with Mr. Liefer.
